Ok a lot people reviewing this obviously didn't bother to read the synopsis or watch the trailer. This is a television show so they are expanding on the novel. The show starts by giving origin stories to Merteuil and Valmont. The direction for their origin stories is kind of weird to me. Merteuil and Valmont being snobbish aristocratics is part of their appeal and says a lot about who they are personally. The show instead tries to give them a Dickensian type of humble beginnings origin. I'm guessing they are trying to make them more relatable but I find it kind of boring. Merteuil and Valmont are rich jerks who look down on people. Aside from that the show obviously is shot well. The female lead is descent. Not sold on the male lead though. The supporting actors are good. I'll keep watching but I'm going to manage my expectations.

Liam Neeson vs Two Very Stupid guys
25 March 2021
Liam Neeson is one of the greatest action heroes of our time. He is perfect in this movie. So why the hell did they put him against some dumb lightweight villains? This was an absolute waste of Liam Neesons very particular set of skills. The villains played by John Mclane's son and Alexander Hamilton's son are the absolute worst lazy villains I've seen in movies. Their motivation is so low stakes and their plan just gets dumber as the movie goes on. Whoever wrote and directed this need to be sent to jail for wasting Liam Neesons time. Its the one rule in action movies. A good if not great villains to faceoff against the hero. If this movie starred some unknown actor than you can get away with weak villains. But if you Liam Neeson than you need to bring your A game people. One more thing. Robert Patrick is in this movie. The T1000 is in this movie. He's not the villain btw. So that tells you how clueless the people who made this movie are.

A amazing show
12 April 2017
One of the best TV series to come from TFC in a long time. The story is intelligent and interesting. The cast is excellent. Many shows starring children always has problems because the kids cannot perform to the level. But the two child actors here are incredible and total naturals. Yesha Camille and Xian Vigor are talented performers I hope they continue to have splendid careers. The adults who play the children's parents played by Jason Abalos and Yam Concepcion should be commended as well. They carry the emotional weight of the show and the chemistry they have with the child actors and each other is palpable. You believe they are a real family The supporting cast is excellent with the biggest standout being Ellen Adarna who plays the antagonist. Ellen in her career has played mostly protagonist love interest roles. This is her first role playing a villain and she is amazing. Her performance as the villain is not only delicious but also relatable. A true mark of a great villain performance. She takes the show to another level. Just an amazing like I said. People on it all deserve awards.
