Alright, so I'm a huge Planet of the Apes fan, and I was stoked for "Kingdom." The CGI's solid, and the cast brings it. But, honestly? It feels like we've been down this road before.
The story? It's set way after the last trilogy, but it's basically the same old ape takeover OG plot. Nothing new or unique on the story here.
Also, that orangutan character. They had potential, but ended up just being a Caesar history lesson. Not exactly the breakout star we were hoping for.
