An insult to the original.
7 January 2024
I am a big fan of the exorcist (1973) and have already approached this title skeptically. So I'll start with everything that was done wrong or what excited me.

The biggest negative point is the multicultural plot that simply does not fit together, which is shown enormously in exorcism.

The two girls are just annoying from the beginning that you can't build up emotions and you can also forget about the acting performance.

Furthermore, storylines have been completely forgotten, cut too short or completely bypassed the topic.

Linda Blair and Ellen Burstyn appear only briefly in this title and are not honored. Which turns out to be a big mistake.

Conclusion: This film should not be called "the exorcist" at all. It's an insult to the original! A continuation that no one needs and should be skillfully ignored.
