Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999–2008)

Gravy! - Ed
26 August 2023
Well, most things about this show are great. Ed, Edd n Eddy, or Eds as they are known, are three friends with the same name, with different nicknames, pre-teens, twelve years old, with different personalities. Ed is quite stupid, but very good-hearted, and I love his lines. Edd, or Double D to differentiate him from Ed, is a kind, friendly nerd who is my favorite of the Eds, and Eddy is a selfish, greedy little guy who rarely shows his caring side, but is fun. Despite this, they have one thing in common: They are very sweet. They apply scams to get money, because of that, in general to get jawbreakers. Most of the rest are characters I hate but are iconic anyway.

I hate Kevin, Sarah, The Kanker Sisters, et cetera. The rest is pretty much so-so, but I like it more than I hate it.

Incredible pastry. About the negative stuff... well, flandering a lot of character. The slapstick got meaner as the series went on, and I hate the last two seasons, but it's a Cartoon Network classic. I recommend.

Underrated movie.
10 January 2023
I know this movie is criticized and generally considered the weakest of the SpongeBob movie franchise.

But I don't understand why (I understand why it's considered the weakest). This movie is very faithful to the TV series, like the other two movies.

A great CGI animation that is as good as (if not better than) the animation in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Excellent voice acting as always, and SpongeBob's voice sounds like the first three seasons and since season 8, i.e. BETTER than the first movie.

Easter Eggs.

And there are emotional moments too, like Patrick's backstory or even the homage to Stephen Hillenburg, creator of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Likeable and likeable characters.

AAAH! BUT HE CONTRADICTS "Truth or Square" My answer: Episode you hate.

One glitch doesn't ruin an entire movie you freaks.

Yes, there are many flaws in this movie, like it steals elements from other works like: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, "What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?" "Have You Seen This Snail?" and even Finding Nemo, which makes it look like a movie adaptation of "Have You See This Snail?".

Decent, underrated film, should have positive or even mixed to positive reviews.

Fireman Sam (1987–2023)
5/10
Great Fires of London! Even Sam himself isn't able to save the day from his show's seasonal rot.
5 January 2023
Previously, the show had likeable characters, good animation, and good episodes. But the CGI series/seasons are just plain awful and one of the worst children's cartoons, Note: I will only be reviewing the CGI series/seasons.

For example, now Dilys (Norman's mother) has been completely redesigned! She looks almost nothing like her original design!

The only connections to previous seasons are: the names of the characters, the show still being set in Pontypandy (albeit with a different layout), the theme music, some of the character designs bearing a slight resemblance to how they looked in Season 5, and Sam still using his "Great Fires of London" !" catchphrase in seasons 6 and 7, but that's pretty much it.

This tries very hard to modernize Fireman Sam/Sam Tân.

CGI animation looks jagged, robotic, weird, scary, ugly, outdated, weak, etc.

Animation errors exist in these seasons as well, like in the episode "Floating Cart" where Norman, Mike, Helen and their van disappear for a very short time, but still. This has been fixed (at least in the US version) Another example is in the episode "Sticky Situation", where right at the beginning of the episode, you can see a literal red line (probably used to make the animation) on the right side of the screen. How did no one in the animation department notice this until James A Williams did?!

Also, many characters have had their personalities switched.

Norman Price is the worst example, and the only one I'm going to give, he has become annoying, selfish, idiotic, whiny, obnoxious, obnoxious, stupid, bratty, and arrogant who does horrible things for little reason.

The voice acting is sometimes painful to listen to.

For example, children (UK only) sound terrible, as they don't sound like children, but like adults with high-pitched voices.

The worst example is Norman Price, as Steve Kymann does a terrible job voicing him, and his voice in the UK is just unbearable, as it sounds like a cross between Carl Wheezer and JarJar Binks, with a Welsh accent.

I could say a lot more, but I think this quote says it all: "And I can easily agree that CGI Fireman Sam is definitely one of those bad reboots! Why do I call this a reboot instead of just Season 6 onwards? Because Season 6 seriously feels like I'm watching a completely different show! The characters look and act different, the setting is different, the animation is different, the feel is different. One of the best things about Season 5 was because even though it was made a few years after the original series ended, that season felt like a sequel season to the show. Kind of like Samurai Jack Season 5. The characters were the same, the setting was the same, the humor was the same, and some elements from the original seasons were present in this season. But Season 6 has basically nothing connected to the fifth season, or the other four seasons, except for, Sam's catchphrase of "Great Fires of London!", the characters' names and theme song. That's basically it!"
  • James A. Williams, from his "CGI Fireman Sam" rant video

Once he TIED JAMES TO A CHAIR AND GLUED A DOOR SO POOR JAMES WAS STUCK IN THERE!

It doesn't help that he spends a lot of screen time in many episodes of these seasons, even when he's not the main focus. The writers seem to have the motto: "When in doubt, always put Norman into the scene"

Very poor understanding of the source material.
4 January 2023
Don't understand why the 1983 series was such an amazing classic, even though original creators Ross Bagdasarian Jr. And Janaice Karman, has almost no connection to the original two cartoons, and almost no chipmunks singing.

The redesigns of the chipmunks are mediocre, moreover. Although they tried to make the chipmunks look like real children it looks more like a mix of their live-action and original designs fused into one design that creates Chipmunk Humans. And now, let's go to the flanderizations of the characters leaving their very generic personalities.

Alvin suffers the worst flanderization of them all in my opinion, he went from being selfish, rude, and mischievous, but innocent, relatable, and caring in the live-action franchise and the two 1961 and 1983 shows, respectively, to an idiot selfish, self-centered, irritating, sadistic and boring, making it very understandable for Dave to yell at him.

For example, "Liar Liar" where he lies to a child who has a brother in China and even says that Dave spread the lie.

In addition, he tortures and manipulates his brothers many times (mainly Theodore) 1. Talking Teddy.

Alvin gets tired of Talking Teddy and asks Simon to create a keyboard for him to edit what Talking Teddy says, but he goes too far, literally making Theodore do his chores and sell all his money!

In "Safety Third" he manipulates Simon into turning his bus project into a dangerous car that Dave won't buy for him.

In "The Great Snack Off when Theodore gets candy up his nose, (there are doctors) he tries to get the candy out in dangerous ways, which as Simon said, LITERALLY COULD HAVE EXPLODED THEODORE'S HEAD!

Simon has gone from a smart, likable character to a generic punching bag (yes, I know Simon has always been a Butt-Monkey, but here he's much more serious than he usually is) who is a jerk to Alvin (Although that could be justified, as he tortures Simon and Theodore most of the time), but remains pretty tolerable most of the time.

Theodore has been slightly flanderized as he is a large Butt-Monkey, and can sometimes be unsympathetic, for example he stole food in one episode (Allergic Reaction) The Chipettes have also been flanderized, into jerks who abuse their male counterparts in many episodes, especially in the first season. But, Jeanette is the least obnoxious and goofy one and remains pleasant most of the time.

Peppa Pig: The Tree House (2004)
Season 1, Episode 37
4/10
A bad episode.
3 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
If Daddy Pig had done something wrong, Daddy Pig's torture would be understandable, but since that's not the case... the episode tries to make us sympathize with Peppa and the rest of the family, but since Daddy Pig has done nothing wrong , makes you antagonize Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, Grandpa Pig, and Grandma Pig, and sympathize with Daddy Pig. Well, if you ask me, I don't understand why kids find it so funny and cool.

This episode also has a horrible moral.

Mummy Pig and the Grandparents are out of character because they are usually tolerable, but not in this episode.

About positives, only Daddy Pig, beginning and end.

Thomas & Friends: Fiery Flynn (2011)
Season 15, Episode 20
2/10
"His firebox was on fire!"
1 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Here we go!

The episode's main problem is that it simply insults the intelligence of firefighters in a horrible way. How the episode portrays firefighters as incompetent idiots for a character is neither funny nor fitting.

And us thinking the CGI Fireman Sam is bad.

Flynn is just as dumb, if not dumber than Thomas in the episode "Wonky Whistle", which is saying a lot.

It makes Patrick Star look like Albert Einstein in comparison, as he can't even tell if an engine is on fire or not.

Three sentences: "You're not on fire?" "All the engines like to be really helpful, as well as really useful" "But I'm wet through!".

But without a doubt, the most infamous line of the episode was: The blue engine was Thomas. "His firebox was on fire!" OF COURSE IT'S ON FIRE! THEREFORE THE NAME! IF A FIREBOX IS NOT ON FIRE, HOW WILL A STEAM ENGINE WORK, DEAR NARRATOR?

What is Sharon Miller's problem?

Now, I'm not saying Sharon is a horrible person, or accident-prone and clumsy, she's a great voice director, just not very good at writing.

Ended worst season with worst episode (tied with "Wonky Whistle") I'm already tired of typing, but I can tell you there are continuity errors and five plot holes: How does Rocky know that Thomas is on fire if the alarm just rang? We don't see anybody tell Rocky the emergency. The same thing happens when one of Mavis' trucks catches fire.

While Thomas is burning, Flynn tells the diesels to use buckets of water to turn off the fire, why didn't the drivers do that in the first place?

How did Thomas' firebox explode in the first place?

On the same scene, the diesels get the credit while it was the drivers who turned off Thomas' fire.

What was even the point of Thomas and Flynn thanking the diesels and not the diesel's drivers? The drivers did all the work, not the diesels!

"What a lucky break! Now I have a captive audience!"
24 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
About "Choir Boys", Oh my! SpongeBob is at his absolute worst in this episode! Yes, he's just as bad, if not worse than "A Pal for Gary." This episode is terrible! Just because Squidward refused to listen to SpongeBob's music, he is tortured.

At the beginning, we see SpongeBob depressed because Patrick was at a family gathering, but couldn't he play with someone else? Like Sandy, for example.

The episode's main problem is that SpongeBob tortures Squidward on PURPOSE, only for him to hear SpongeBob's music.

Squidward's throat clearing.

"What a lucky break! Now I have a captive audience!" - Robert SquarePants, better known as SpongeBob SquarePants.

Also, if you EVER CONSIDER doing this in real life, it's illegal and you'll be arrested. Bad and terrible animation, and I'm saying this for the season that has the WORST ANIMATION!

Unfair ending.

I don't even want to comment on that. SpongeBob makes Squidward become a conductor, which he doesn't like.

As usual, SpongeBob gets away with his actions, ending the episode's flaws.

As for what I like here, it makes sense why Squidward isn't in the Men's Chorus. That doesn't justify what SpongeBob has done here, but still.

It had potential but was poorly executed.

SpongeBob's voice is beautiful when he doesn't sing carelessly, For the most part, Squidward is likea.

Caillou (1997–2018)
3/10
"🎶I'm just a kid who's four, each day I scream some more, I ruin children, I'm Caillou!🎵🎶"
24 December 2022
Well this show is terrible for many things most notably the title character Caillou he is very bratty and terrible. He cries, complains, throws a tantrum often (unlike Peppa Pig), regularly for the first three seasons, and has an irritating voice, particularly when it was provided by (with all due respect) Jaclyn Linetsky, and when he cries.

In Seasons 4-5, he has become a bland and uninteresting Gary Stu, but retains his annoying voice and bad demeanor. He is quite selfish.

His worst tantrum was in "Caillou Joins the Circus." After finding out that the circus was tomorrow and not today, he had a tantrum. Not even the next week the circus was.

If the circus was canceled or postponed then it would be somewhat understandable for Caillou to be upset, but that's not the case.

If you want a children's television series that doesn't make your kids naughty, put them on: Sesame Street (Teaches many good morals, although some characters suffer from "Flandering") Dora the Explorer (even if it's annoying, and I highly recommend seasons 1-4) Barney (Same as Dora, and seasons 1-8 only) Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends (Seasons 1-11, 17-21 only) fireman sam (seasons 1-5 only) Pocoyo (season 4 is still decent, but I mostly recommend seasons 1-3) and Hello Kitty and Friends - Supercute Adventures.

They are all great series for your child to watch.

I hate Caillou as much as I hate Peppa Pig, but I think it's far from being one of the worst kids' shows. The reviews on here are wildly exaggerated as they act as if Wolfoo, for example, doesn't exist. But this show is really bad.

"🎶I'm just a kid who's four, each day I scream some more, I ruin children, I'm Caillou! So many things to do, each day I whine some new, I'll badly influence kids, I'm Caillou! My world is turning, tantrums each day, with mommy and daddy barely punishing me! Growing up is not so tough, such when I've screamed enough, there's lots of badly influenced kids, I'm Caillou! Caillou, Caillou, I'm Caillou! That's me!

Peppa Pig: Swimming (2007)
Season 2, Episode 20
3/10
The pool is usually fun, but this time it's not fun.
24 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
There are many mistakes in the episode!

1. Peppa and George look too young to change clothes independently.

2. Why didn't the rabbits go to the locker rooms?

3. The locker room colors were reversed at the end of the episode!

Also, Mummy Pig in one scene told Peppa that only adults can jump on the diving board, although anyone aged 4 and over can jump off diving boards.

Although Daddy Pig is kind of likeable, as he's the only one who can swim underwater, he did go get George and Richard's watering can but didn't make any deals, implying that he probably did it to please the two.

When Daddy Pig gave the can to George and Richard, they didn't even say thank you, which teaches children to be indifferent and apathetic. Also, when the watering can fell, when Richard said, "Mommy!" she said she couldn't pick it up because it's "too deep." Seriously? It's not like the bottom of the sea! It's just a pool, Miss Rabbit!

And there's also a laughable transcript: George Pig: Mummy!

Mummy Pig: I can't swim underwater.

Peppa Pig: Even I can't swim underwater.

Peppa, did you know that children are less, I mean MUCH less likely to swim underwater than adults?

George and Richard are annoying and obnoxious here because they spill water on Peppa and Rebecca and Daddy Pig thinking it was funny but it doesn't seem to be. Also, Peppa fat-shames Daddy Pig and (along with Rebecca) makes fun of George and Richard because they splash each other with water.

Peppa, Rebecca, George and Richard never get their comeuppance.

Strengths: Adults are nice (although they don't punish or scold anyone).

The ending was decent.

The first half was also decent until Peppa and Rebecca started bragging.

Some passable rare moments.

Where's the strawberry cake when you need it? Oh yeah, there's none to even begin with! (Even with Peppa, George and Mummy Pig being portrayed as unlikable, heartless jerks in
22 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode seems to make fun of Daddy Pig's weight. Peppa, as usual, gets away with her actions and is rather obnoxious for doing so. Even Mummy Pig is unsympathetic because she says she wants to eat and wants to take a nap (Which Daddy Pig does later in the episode). Incidentally, this is the first episode of torture for poor Daddy Pig. If Peppa, George, and Mummy Pig had fed the ducks OTHER food, they wouldn't have needed to feed the whole cake. There's even an animation error in a wasp scene, and the result is terrifying. Peppa, George or Mummy Pig didn't even try to help Daddy Pig. In addition to two bad customs that the episode teaches: Escape from a wasp. In fact, the right thing would be to, at the very least, slowly move away from the wasps. Order more food even when you're full. Self explanatory. Speaking of wasp, it is referred to as wasp, but it is clearly a bee. It could be said that Peppa Mummy Pig and George are greedy sadists for everything they've done here.

The only thing that settled me was Daddy Pig being nice here.

Also, he managed to get a little exercise at the end of the episode.

Fat shaming is bad!

"Thank you Mario! But our princess is in another castle!" - Toad
22 December 2022
Incredible. The concept of a nice plumber (albeit an Italian stereotype) saving the princess instead of a gentleman or prince is quite original and good. Sort of the graphics were nice back then and are still excellent to this day. Generated three iconic power-ups from across the "Mario" series. Super Mushroom, Fire Flower and Starman. Great music too. Top theme is very well known even if you have never played this game. Thank Nintendo for this amazing game. Flaws: Unlike "Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)" you cannot rewind. The game doesn't even have a continue unlike Sonic, if you lose your lives you HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN! At least there's a cheat that makes you pick up where you left off in the world.

Fun fact: If you've lost all your lives, press and hold the "A" button on the NES until the title screen, and while holding, press Start on the NES. So, instead of world 1-1, you will start in the world where you took a Game Over.

Peppa Pig: Mister Skinnylegs (2004)
Season 1, Episode 47
2/10
Worst episode of Peppa Pig.
20 December 2022
The episode seems to teach a moral about playing with spiders. It was even banned in Australia because of this. Of course, even though deadly spiders are rarely encountered, many are unfriendly and will bite you if they think they're being threatened. Peppa and George also hold the spider in their own hands. Creators: Um, let's make a sequel! Clearly Australia really liked it when we did the previous episode.

Unbelievable. There's even a YouTuber called PhantomStrider and he made a video called "Top 6 Worst Peppa Pig Episodes". He described the episode like this: "Sorry Peppa, you've done some dumb stuff, but you're not getting off this one. I know this show is meant to be brainless enough to be processable by the gnat on the ceiling, but this is the most thick-headed , irresponsible message the writers have sent so far. I consider Mister Skinnylegs the most dangerous, stupid, terrible episode of Peppa Pig of them all."

Peppa Pig: The Quarrel (2007)
Season 2, Episode 43
4/10
"I don't want to play with you anymore!" - Peppa Pig
15 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The quarrel that is in the title is very unrealistic and weird. Peppa loses a game of Snap (according to PhantomStrider), and ENDS her friendship with Suzy just because she lost two games in a row. Peppa is very unsympathetic here as she more or less complains about the fact that she cheated because she "looked at the card" which makes no sense as Suzy was clearly playing by the rules. And Peppa's excuse is terrible, because that's how Snap is supposed to work! Also "You're not my best friend anymore!" Mummy Pig is also a bit of a dick since she thinks making amends will solve everything! SHE DIDN'T EVEN SEE WHAT HAPPENED! It also teaches a terrible moral about "apologizing will always solve everything" and Peppa never received punishment for what she did to Suzy.

Pocoyo (2005– )
8/10
Pocoyo is much better than Caillou and Peppa Pig.
15 December 2022
In this TV series, you can see Pocoyo and his friends in their incredible adventures in the episodes. It has many iconic and likable characters. Pocoyo, the title character, is well-mannered, cheerful and kind. He, being a small child, tends to be childish. He speaks a lot of words despite being only four years old.

He is very affectionate with others. He is not as nice as he was in season four, but he is still likable, remembering that he sometimes has his moments of quarrel with his friends, but regularly regrets his actions. He can also take things out on the wrong people. Pato, who is a sometimes grumpy, but often calm duck who plays with his friends, and enjoys watering flowers. I would say that Pocoyo has a good friend. Elly, who also likes to play with others and play and tea with her doll. I wouldn't say it's the best children's show, but use this to educate your children or children that you are responsible. Please don't use Peppa Pig or Caillou, use Pocoyo or Hello Kitty.
