Ancient Aliens - Ancient questions
27 August 2009
As a child of 6 years, I read Eric Von Daniken's book "Were the gods astronauts", and it captured my sci-fi interested mind, lasting to this day, almost 40 years later. In the following years I had read everything I could possibly find written by, and about Eric and Charles Berlitz and others who went onto the same path. Both positively charged towards the ideas set forth by Eric, and also the negative reviews.

The questions asked back then, have still not been answered, rather more questions have been put forth, as time has revealed more mysteries, more strange and inexplicable ruins and artifacts. Traditional archeology does not offer credible explanations, mostly, as I see it, because of religious indoctrination of societies.

How I would have loved seeing this program as a child... I will ensure that my children will watch and listen... and hopefully also get the books and read everything they can come across on this subject.

I went to the Nazca plateau a few years back, for the first time... after moving to Peru from Iceland/Scandinavia, and I was really impressed by the lines. A lot of INSANE theorists, claiming the lines to be water-ways... were flushed down the toilet the day I stood ON the lines with my own feet. Such theorists have no freaking idea about what they are talking about. Probably they live in their grandmother's basement, never seeing the light of day, never having had any real dealings with nature or real life. "Nerds"... would be too kind a description for them. I went to Nazca again earlier this year, bringing my parents with me, since this was also a location they were very much interested in... and they were impressed.

Some things need to be experienced, but any and every beginning is OK through information, and this program is better than most, especially taking in consideration our times of visual materialism.

If you come across this title, grab it and watch it. This is a keeper.

Fascist America without it's invisibility cloak
2 September 2007
I had been waiting for the film for several months, and when I finally got to see it (through google video), I was in awe. This proved to be one of the best, if not THE best film of all times in my opinion. By far the best documentary I have ever seen. When the US is allowed to behave the way it wants, the results will be terrible, as history classes normally don't teach us, but that doesn't mean that the US is behaving well. It only has good PR and propaganda in place world wide. The US is in effect the Evil Empire, and the sooner it is put to sleep, the better it would be. For as long as it is allowed to do things the "American way", the rest of the world will be suffering greatly. America is fascist, has been so for as long as it has existed, and will probably continue to be so, because the American public is not willing or able to understand the way their country is construed. There is nothing democratic about the US or the way it attacks other countries economically or militarily. It is pure fascism. The American public accepts whatever they are told by their handlers, because then they don't have to take responsibility for anything. (true cowards). Fortunately the US will be defeated, and my hope, along with most of the world, is that their defeat will be so great, that no other nation will ever behave like the US has and does. Any human being who watches this film, will have watery eyes when it is over.... the international terrorism caused and carried out by the US is no less to day than it was 30 or 50 years ago. It is sickening they have been enabled to carry out their hideous crimes. Millions murdered around the world, so that the US can maintain it's "leading role". It doesn't matter what the president of the US is named or what party he comes from, it's the whole BASIS for the country which is rotten to the core. Disgusting country which ... if possible... should be launched into space, towards some big black hole where it would disappear forever.

Watch the film and see the truth about it all.

Fantastic for a no budget project
18 August 2007
This was not a low- budget film... this was a NO-budget film. The whole budget was only $3.000 and of course a whole lot of work for the people behind the project. I salute them for a job well done! Absolutely fantastic what can be done if one really wants to put one's energy and effort into it.

I wonder what they could had achieved if the budget had been ten times or one hundred times bigger. I wish the whole team behind this all the best of luck for the future.... and hope to see more from them in the future (shouldn't be difficult for them to do more, since they don't need any money for a production... literally speaking :)

To see the movie, go to theore.net/ and watch it for free. Those 20 minutes of your life are going to be better spent than with many multi million dollar movies.

When the chicken come home to roost...
25 July 2007
The pilot is very poorly directed and acted. The story is as superficial as one can expect from a long running series which have lost the initial spark... it is absolutely not something one would expect to be the pilot for a new TV show. To watch it was a waste of time, but I'm sure people have wasted, and continue to waste their time on shows even worse than what this gave the impression of being. It was my choice to remain watching until the end, so I can only blame myself. Will I check out the next episodes when they come? Yes, I think I just might do that... that is not based on the storyline, acting, directing, cutting, background music, special effects or other issues found in this pilot. It is based purely on my interest in the sci-fi genre. I sincerely hope the production team will put in the needed capital and guidelines NEEDED to keep this from ruining the whole concept.

This is supposed to air sometime next year, but is already on several streaming net sites, which I would deem as very positive for the producers... now they can read people's opinions BEFORE this is aired, and hopefully discard the extremely bad parts, fix the fixable and come up with a new pilot for when it is supposed to air the first time.

My vote on this first view of the pilot goes for neutral 5 stars. Having seen only one episode is not reason enough to reward it with the 2 stars it truly deserves (maybe even one), cause future episodes might become worth wasting time on.
