A Holiday Boyfriend (2019)
She Gaslighted That Man So Bad It's Hilarious
I liked the movie personally and I don't get why there so many 1 star bad reviews. It's 2024 obvious you seen one you seen them all. I'm tired of seeing the same mainstream actors basically making the same movie in a different setting and different girl or guy. The only thing that made me mad was when the lady had the audacity to gaslight dude when she found out what he really does for work after trashing him to her friends the entire movie. She wouldn't date a guy who does what he do but she can use him to make herself feel better! Making the Asian friend dumb was weird too. I personally thought it was a lot of passion between the two and thought this was grown man and women stuff but apparently people here rather bash the creators and actors. How about you raise the money and direct a rom-com without the standard cliches in 2024. Like what are people expecting really! Take the movie as it is and stop being so nipicky and technical.
Dad's Home (2010)
Fast little daughter for 12 years old
The movie was very weird and upsetting at times. Even with a wife he couldn't even do laundry or bake a chicken! How can you bake so bad the chicken smoking in an oven. Thats would take at least an extra 40mins to happen! Just didn't make sense.
Also, he didn't even check his fast little daughter sneaking around with boys at only 12 years old! I don't care if her mom pass she talking to him too crazy and he has nothing real to say! Basically horrible parenting!
Also, the couple didn't have any connection or moments and it seemed like it was just added when the whole movie focused on how the children was dealing with there mothers death!
So the teacher just left her whole class to talk to that 1 student who got in a fight? Come on now! Other than having a relationship with a student parent right after his wife dies kinda sketchy and super unprofessional! Since she was particularly interested in this one student she must of met the mom at some point.
Also, the principal at the school talking to this grown man like he a whole child. If everyone was so allergic to stuff they should have made it their responsibility to give parents notices instead of expecting this to remember one part in a probably long school packet! Again didn't make sense!
Moral of the story it was stupid and I couldn't get into it. Felt like I should have went to bed instead of starting another movie! I watch romance movies all the time and this was even cliché it was more so confusing and forced.
Love Again (2023)
Bf Will Always Have Her Heart, REALLY
I enjoyed the movie a lot mainly because of the handsome Sam but I was very disappointed that the girl was so hung up on a bf who died 2 years ago. I understand grief but to start wearing the ring after two years was a bit much! Then gone tell dude at the end that the dead bf will always have her heart like he don't matter is crazy. Makes me question his place in her heart! Why would a man like that settle for that? Also, what was the point of the unsupportive coworkers? Telling them your business so they can judge you then get in the way was annoying! Since stocking wasn't it an issue for them my only complaint is why didn't the sister talk some sense into her! She literally been stuck on a guy who died instead of being with someone you have a real connection with.
