One of the most intense horror movies of all-time. For me argentos best. And can you name another movie which plays flash of the blade by the greatest metal band. Oh yes

good old fashioned stuff

its always hard to regain success after you played 10 years the same character. as Radcliffe did in Harry Potter.

but Radcliffe does a pretty good job here, even its not really about him. Meaning the movie would be as good without him.

cause the film goes more in the direction of old mystery horror movies. and thats what i liked about it. at least its a horror movie with scary moments, and not just bloody tortures as "saw"....or such movies. And it doesn't has a typical Hollywood-ending.

rest of cast, camera work and directing are good to very good.

for me one of the best in that genre over the last couple years.

The Best

No doubt, the most realistic police show ever made.

Mean we all saw a lot of cop-shows in our life, most unrealistic, but this one is entirely different. Great characters, great acting, its more intellectual then all the rest.

no car chases, no gun-firing all the time

and, no high-tech computers.

cause that doesn't exist in real life.

and yet the show is still entertaining.

the difference is this show is not really about the murders. well it also is, but most of the characters are psycho-log. very deep. all with their own personal problems. the writing is fantastic, cause the dialogs, they just talk ass we all do - day by day.
