Sneakerella (2022)
Great movie
10/10 This is yet another version of the age-old Cinderella story. Unfortunately, it's not the cross between Metal Gear Solid and Cinderella that I was hoping for, with Cinders sneaking through enemy bases and taking out bad guys with a sprinkle of fairy dust and the heel of her shoe! Instead, it's a gender-swapped take on the original fable which is set in the modern day.
The movie focuses on El (Chosen Jacobs), a stockroom boy at a shoe store who dreams of becoming a famous sneaker designer. His less than wicked stepfather doesn't allow him the opportunity to fulfil his dreams, however, and neither do his bullying stepbrothers who do their best to make El's life miserable while he is under their father's employ.
Operation Mincemeat (2021)
Great movie
10/10👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Good movie but beware explicit sex encounters
A very well written and acted movie. Beware, that there are a couple explicit and unnecessary sexual encounters in the middle of the movie. 18+
Operation Mincemeat" looks like a proper British spy drama and for the most part, well, it is. It's based on the true story of wartime daring and heroism, features a classy cast including Colin Firth and Matthew Macfadyen and has a director in John Madden ("Shakespeare in Love," the "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" movies) who's made his name with exactly this kind of sturdy, old-fashioned fare.
But the story itself is so absurd and is told with enough surprises and dry humor that it's constantly engaging. Imagine "Weekend at Bernie's" set during World War II, with a dash of romance sprinkled in amid the spy craft and physical gags, and you'll have some idea of the tricky tonal balance this film improbably achieves. "Operation Mincemeat" takes its title from the real-life mission that tricked Hitler into believing the Allies were going to invade Greece, rather than Sicily, in 1943. Ben Macintyre's non-fiction book of the same name also provides the basis for television veteran Michelle Ashford's sprawling script. But while the film as a whole may seem dense and restrained, the performances and attention to detail consistently bring it to life.

Great movie!
I absolutely love movies like this that draw you into figuring out the mazes & puzzles with the characters on the screen.
Every once & a while a movie like this is released & it restores your faith in Horror Thrillers. I can honestly say this is a fun thought provoking Horror/Thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat Start to Finish! 10/10.
I don't understand why so many people give such a low score, maybe everyone has different preferences.
I hope more movies of this type will be made so that audiences like us can see more diverse movies.
I hope you can watch your favorite movies.
Montana Story (2021)
Great movie
This is a minor-key modern Western whose melancholy probe into the bruising past gives way, in a quietly satisfying conclusion, to the hope of reconciliation, even healing.
McGehee and Siegel are at the top of their game, building to an emotional and memorable climax.
The achievement of acting in this film cannot be overstated. Haley Lu Richardson, especially, delivers her lines with such tact and in a way that makes her character a living, breathing person.
Some very intriguing themes are explored through parallel presentation that provoke thought as to what gives a life inherent meaning or value. I'll be thinking about it for a while.
