Awesome, simply awesome!!

Do we believe in destiny? Do we believe in our chances of success? This movie shows that, sometimes, dreams come true even though the odds are totally unfavorable.

Two boys and a girl, condemned to live a miserable life with no chances whatsoever to rise above mediocrity, manage literally to turn upside down their whole universe and become nation wide famous.

The film also emphasizes the disastrous social background of India's slums, where people struggle everyday with poverty and crime. It is actually hard to believe that someone who lives there has any chance whatsoever to reach a decent life standard. Destiny and love, mixed together, are the recipe of success if one truly believes in their power. Our "chaiwalla" ( person who serves tea) from the slums, who had never attended school, never had read a book in his life, had become an overnight millionaire when he had attended the popular TV show "Who wants to be a millionaire". Who could had believed this?

Congratulations for the director because he believed in some inexperienced actors and had done such a good job with a low budget. I'm looking forward in seeing them in other movies after their fabulous debut. Congrats for all involved in making this masterpiece, good job mates, the movie deserved every Oscar won!

Entertaining show

Regardless of what other "film critics" think about this movie, my opinion is that if you "don't like it, don't buy it". No one is forcing any one to watch this movie, which, by the way, rises to the O.C. or the Beverly Hills 90210 potential.

I know, maybe the theme was re-approached over and over again by other teen movies... anyway, these movies are meant for something... to remember us about the good days in high-school, funny stuff and all the pranks we used to do as teens.

Probably it is not as good as "Beverly Hills 90210", well guess what... it is not meant to be compared with that movie... that movie rocked because it was one of the first of its kind. As the title suggests, this is the new generation of teens, the nowadays teens dealing problems in their way and with their own means, so why don't we give this flick a chance. Go 90210, keep it this way!

Boogeyman 2 (2007)

Weak

Warning: Spoilers
This is not what you would expect when you see the front cover of the DVD. Actually, it's not even close. It's just a "Scream" kind of film where a masked guy chases some frightened teenagers through an isolated mental hospital.

From my point of view the first film was way better than this one. The first puts the accent on the horror part, this one emphasizes the bloody, cruel and disgustful part.

As for the plot, it's a little bit incoherent because you actually don't know who killed the children's parents in the beginning of the movie.

Anyway, "Boogeyman 2" is definitely not a horror fan's movie and I am a little disappointed in it's shallow approach of the Boogeyman subject.
