The Forgotten (2004)
Dear GOD!!
This movie was the best movie...OK, I can't even say...oh man...this movie was the biggest load of crap ever. This movie was horrible. The worst movie I have ever ever seen. Worst than Walk Like a Man, Cannibal!, Leonard the 6th, Lawnmower Man 2, and Home Alone 4 combined!! Oh man. This movie was bad...nothing happened in the whole movie!! ACK!!! As a writer and filmmaker this gives me hope cuz if this crap idea can be made then anything I write is gold. OK the premise is good, people forgetting and getting sucked in the sky...why?? Good premise. Good acting. Horrible story!! Just bad. Avoid at all costs. If it comes on TV burn you TV and move out of the country. It was that bad. damn...a shame. I really had high hopes for this movie. It coulda been something...it coulda been a contender...

2 G's & a Key (2000)
Good Movie
So there I am flipping through all the channels when I see Conroe Brooks. Conroe Brooks?? Hey I know that I guy, I went to highschool with his sister. And wow the movie just came on. I watched the whole thing start to finish, and let me tell you at 4 am the movie has gotta be good, for me to pass up sleep that is. The acting was superb. I enjoyed the characters and the little idiosyncrasies each one had. Two things about the movie I didn't like though: one was the editing. I felt that editing was a bit choppy. Just a bit. Not alot, not enough to say, "Dammit what is up with choppy editing crap! Dammit!" but, enough to say, "Hmm...why did the director choose to insert that shot here," and so on, which you should not be asking during a movie in the first place. Your suppose to be thinking about the movie. And the other thing was (u thought I forgot) was the script. I felt the script was good but a bit contrived. Other than that it was a good movie and I enjoyed the amateurish film quality about it. If you are into low-budget indy films than you will like it alot. If your into flashy, run and gun, crazy, blow your house up and kill your pets, while dancing with an uzi, type of shindig, this one has its moments. And if your (shut up Jonathan, sorry sometimes I ramble) Anyways good movie!! And good job Conroe, congrats!
Nothing to Lose (1997)
My favorite
I thought this movie was great. Steve Oedekerk has not written a movie I didn't like yet and this is one is no exception. Two thumbs up. The humor throughout this movie was awesome. There was not a moment during this movie where you weren't laughing or just finished laughing. And let me just tell you, whoever decided to cast Tim Robbins (Shawshank Redemption, Cadillac Man, Howard the Duck) and Martin Lawerence (Bad Boys, Life, Blue Streak) together, let me just say GENIUS!! These two are the funniest duo I have seen in awhile. Hey Tim, Martin, make another movie together, please. Maybe your off camera chemistry was bad, I dunno if it was or wasn't, but on screen you guys worked flawlessly. On scale of 1 to 10 I give this movie a solid 9. This movie is funny for any age mixing slapstick with more refined(I think that is the word I am looking for) humor. And another onscreen duo I thoroughly enjoyed was that of John C. McGinley (Scrubs, Any Given Sunday), and Giancarlo Esposito (Ali, Usual Suspects). They were stupendous, a movie about their charaters, Rig and Charlie, hmmm.... Overall the casting was great, casting director I salute you! Back to the movie. If you haven't seen it , see it, and if you have, well see it again! This is Jonathan signing off.
The Legend of Zelda 2: Rinku no bôken (1987)
Great!
This game is great! If you are into RPG's you'll like this one. Now true is doesn't compare to RPG's of now but for 1989 this and Dragon Warrior were on the top of every RPG Gamer's Top 10 List, hands down. If you can get a copy of Nintendo Power from 1988, 1989, and 1990, you'll see what real gamers thought of this masterpiece.
