You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment (2024)
They got off topic by the third episode
There is a lot of fear lingering and very old information in this series. What made it interesting was how the twins were doing, unfortunately there was very little in the series about the twins. Vegan or carnivor, eat what you want. But do not tout the very best of veganism/food in comparison to the very worst of carnivore/food. There is a lot of difference between high quality meat and the garbage we are offered at the store, just as there is with the fruits/veggies at the store.
Bottom line, eat the best food you can get your hands on, get out and walk, get extra sugar and overly processed food out of your diet, get some fresh air...these simple, non-expensive changes will do wonders.
Snowflake Mountain (2022)
So much better than expected
Watch the entire show. So much better than expected. As a youth leader and military veteran, I can relate to the challenges and benefits. Worth the watch!!
Fat: A Documentary (2019)
First hand experience
This way of eating has helped me in so many ways, after 6 months all of my health markers improved dramatically. I don't need a fancy study to tell me it works. I have tried every diet imaginable, and keto/low-carb is the only one that is sustainable for me.
It is absolutely mind-blowing how much of the guidance we follow comes from fraudulent studies and skewed studies. I always say, follow the money and you will find the truth. It sickens me to know how much mis-information our government has crammed down our throats. When I was a kid there were very few fat kids, now it's hard to find a kid at a healthy weight. What's changed...our food!.
Before you judge, try it, you may find you feel better than you ever have.
Fat: A Documentary 2 (2021)
First hand experience
This way of eating has helped me in so many ways. I don't need a fancy study to tell me it works. I have tried every diet imaginable, and keto/low-carb is the only one that is sustainable for me. For some the environment is more important than human health. If you research where you food comes from and not just blindly buy any protein offered, you can help to sustain farmers who treat their animals ethically and feed them properly. When the animals are treated and fed properly you don't have the issues that so many hang their beliefs on.
Before you judge, try it, you may find you feel better than you ever have.
