Such a shame.... I was really looking forward to watching this movie, but it was ruined by the bad acting and Directing/Production/Editing. Years ago I watched a documentary on Dave, and it was very interesting In one scene he is seen eating breakfast with his children, with his pistol sitting on the table... Great Dad eh? But this movie could have been good,,,, just ruined by the terribly bad acting (actually Dave-playing himself was about the best actor in it!) I think the reason it turned out so bad, was that the storyline was written, the movie produced, edited, and directed by the same person - a Mr Patel I believe How crazy is that? His inexperience in making good movies really shows through.....I suggest he chooses a new career

This was one of the most boring movie's I've ever watched No real storyline that you could follow without losing interest. It was very disjointed and confusing, jumping back and forth without any real sequence. Im surprised that Bruce Willis put his name to it, but then he has not had many offers lately. The directing and editing was not up to par and as a previous op posted, no good sequence between past and present. I kept watching in the hope it would improve. It didn't. In fact it got worse. I wish I could find something good to say about it, but I cant. After 35mins I gave up, as I was falling asleep with boredom. Save your money,,,,,,, it really was that bad.

This had the makings of a good movie, but was thoroughly spoilt by the bad directing and terrible acting. One or two could act reasonably well, the rest were awful and so was the music score.
I had the feeling that Connie Stevens, cast the parts to friends and family, and used her choice of music from the past. She also wrote the story line and directed....that says it all.
Tatum O'Neal was dreadful and her terrible acting destroyed the movie.

This group of actors would have been hard pressed to give a performance better than a group of 10 year old students at a school play. The acting was amateurish, except for Armand Assante and Tom Sizemore. All the female actors were absolutely dreadful. The storyline was basically good, but the directing was awful. Doesn't work to have the director being the writer. The whole thing was flat. That is the easiest way I could describe it. The music did not match the would be tension of the scenes. I kept watching in the hope it would improve. Unfortunately it did not happen. It looked like a very low budget movie with a group of actors that maybe hadn't worked in a long time. The set itself looked as if it was filmed in a studio, no real rough terrain as you would find in Iraq. Also the actors and their uniforms/clothes remained spotless all the way through, which considering they were supposed to be operating in a dirty dusty environment, was laughable.

This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever watched in my life. The storyline was good, but the acting, directing and production were appalling. It literally dragged all the way through. It was not in the least bit scary. The "special effects" consisted of a few things rattling and a couple of pictures moving. The theme song was sung by an absolutely awful "singer" who couldn't even reach the notes of the song.
It was so bad that it impelled me to write this review, which I have never done before and I provide and watch many movies to review. I honestly cannot find one good thing to say about it. Anyone who gives a good review of this has got to be connected in some way with the film. Keep your money in your pockets folks.
