Religion Aside
7 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
After watching the pilot and immersing myself in Kevin's character i see why he was cast in the role. Charming and talented. Hopefully the writers are more than capable of keeping the scripts funny and full of spirit. The pilot show has good flow. The hidden messages are okay. Waiting on some amazing events in future episodes. Hoping it will be more tough family situations mixed with heavy comical bumbling. Throw in a little divine sorcery and it might be great. High hopes ..

Substandard Films

Not really getting the joke yet? Is it a new form of making money via the taxman or some hidden payoff from some mystery scheme. As for making everyone look bad, both cast and crew, i imagine it was a 24/7 party on set as no one sober could make such offensive and unkind garbage/crap. Nothing sweet nor genuine in this pile of insults to my funnychip. I think Netflix should sue. Last on my rant of a review is how not only this flic but the majority of cinema is really starting to stink. Pretty sure there are many great scripts but nobody wants greatness. I've seen better flics about sewage treatment. Charm someone said.. nope, none. How many awful movies left on the Netflix joke contract?

Promising New Crime-Drama
12 April 2017
Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren was a fantastic Crime-drama Mystery and our New and somewhat improved Prime Suspect 1973 is a nice remake notwithstanding a few tweaks in production glitches and some much needed on-site investigators to help correct police procedure. Aside from some good acting and nice locations the memorable 1970's nostalgic bits and bob's thrown in was nicely done. 70's Music was good. A couple really nice characters were introduced and hopefully a new season will bring them into the fold making them more integral to the plot. A good example would be Sergeant Harris who indeed has great potential. I see better times ahead if it gets the support. One of the better Crime-dramas so far. More mystery would be a plus. Very Groovy.

Nice Show
27 March 2017
Lots of Love/Hate for this little show with lots of heart. It translates well across the pond. Thought i would make that clear. Two show's with heart are "Superior Donuts" and "Kim's Convenience" as for the other comedy shows i have seen in the last 3 years.. none compare. As a former stand up and sinner of stage and screen by far the best acting. Cliche's sure but not swearing to get laughs, no outrageous sexual deviance for laughs. Clean is a much harder form of comedy.. a little campy is cool. Times have changed as ethics are a thing of the past with comics.. a true comic uses timing not "f" bombs. Kudos on those shows trying hard to bring back playful and endearing happiness, something much needed everywhere. Happy humor is my choice for a winning shoe (w).

Brilliant

Warning: Spoilers
Peter Kaye is spectacular as a docker. The perfect fit. Would have expected much more gear in the house. Pallets of food, containers of spam panda licorice.. just to name a few of our fallin' goods. The premise is great. Made me homesick and i haven't lived in Europe since 1970. The fashion and the audio tracks are glorious.. i know smoking is frowned upon and bad language is outlawed but it was the only noticeable items missing. The seventies was horrible .. every person smoked, everywhere.

The "Humor" is priceless in most situations, nothing can prepare you for how well this scheming comedy was forged. Hope a second season comes out from the shadows soon. Best family comedy in a very long time. Could become a classic if treated just right.

Blah!
28 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
A real review.. never.. so.. aside from everything in the script this movie tried a lot of things not mentioned yet. One, the loud music and very loud gunshots were most entertaining until the repetitiveness put me to sleep.. yup! My own autism knocked me out. The ending? I have seen much better conclusions in most television soaps. Very poor ending, thus the 4 rating. The only thing i could relate to was having to finish the math equations. Even the math was off .. according to snipers weekly the only real bang was maybe the boom of the m82 barret 50cal, but a real gunmen would know better. Nothing beats the L115A3 Long Range Rifle. UK built. As far as entertainment value.. snore fest for most of the dialog.

Hitting Home with Action
26 November 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Someone wrote how unrealistic this movie is and that person would be right concerning the acting and settings. As for the content by which human slavery is depicted; from what i have seen and know on the subject, it is much worse and a lot more disturbing. As actions films go, it is fantastic! I Really like how it brings the topic to light. I loved how he just stepped up and became a killing machine for love. Never have i cheered so much for the evil villains to be buried in their own putrid blood. My emotions just seem overwhelmed when confronted by the tragedy and its lack of understanding by law enforcement. One of the many reasons people should be asked to watch this film is so the general public wakes the %^%$ up and asks so many more questions of the laws governing any country and state as to how they deal with these kinds of crimes. "What would you do if your child was taken"?
