NCIS: New Orleans (2014)
Getting worse and worse.
I've about stopped watching it. Bad enough that way back at the end of season 2, they got rid of Brodie. Big mistake. Then later, they get rid of Sonja, another mistake, I understand Lucas Black leaving for personal reasons.
But then you've tried to turn that Lab Monkey into a field agent. Hahahahahaha. He's no more believable as a field agent than my 80 year old invalid mother. In fact, she'd be more believable. Giving him new glasses and a beard doesn't turn a monkey into something he's not. His role is now a HUGE mistake.
You should've brought in a replacement for Lucas, instead of trying to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse.
So, it's reached the point I can't watch it anymore. Too ludicrous!
You want to save this show, put the lab monkey back where he belongs, and bring in a replacement for Lucas Black's character. Somebody that would actually be a field agent.
Although, your show is now a great comedy, unintended as that was ,
19-2 (2014)
This is awful!!!
I watched this for the first time today. I'd never heard of it before. Now I can't get back the hour I wasted on this crap of a show. Bad acting, continuity issues, all cops breaking the law, poor story line, and the list goes on. This one rates right down there with one of the all-time worse tv shows ever aired. There is absolutely NOTHING to recommend this show.
Mystery 101: Mystery 101 (2019)
Typical Hallmark Lawbreaking
This is like ALL Hallmark mysteries involving amateur detectives. ALL evidence collected by our heroine Amy, is inadmissible in court. As usual, she's guilty of a number of crimes, including obstruction of justice, criminal trespass, and burglary. And as usual, in the Hallmark movies, the amateur always seems to know and be on good terms with a police detective.
I grant you, the Mystery 101 movies are not as blatant as Aurora Teagarden. Those are really BAD!!!
But, the average viewer is not cognizant of the realities of how laws work.
Is this movie worth watching? Yes, with a caveat. Do not, for a second, think that you could get away with what these amateurs do.
But all movies tend to stretch the limits of reality, physics, and common sense..
So, watch it, but take it with a grain of salt....a VERY large grain.
A Bundle of Trouble: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2017)
Typical Teagarden
All of the Aurora Teagarden mysteries are the same. An amateur sleuth impeding justice and allowing the criminal to walk free. Sure, they show the bad guy being arrested at the end, but, in reality, the bad guy will get off EVERY time due to all the illegal acts committed by Aurora. I'm amazed she's not in jail on felony charges.
I saw one episode where she committed, in 5 minutes, the following crimes - criminal trespass, breaking & entering, home invasion, assault & battery and obstruction of justice.
She may solve the mystery, but the bad guy will go free every time.
She's a criminal and should be locked up
Cajun Pawn Stars (2012)
So good
Cajun Pawn Stars is SO much better than the "original pawn stars" of Las Vegas. How anybody can stand that fat-a$$ed Rick and his fat-a$$ed son is beyond me. I've never seen bigger self-centered, egotistical, know-nothings in my entire life. The way they cheat people is unbelievable. What's worse is how the public s stupid enough to allow themselves to be cheated.
Cajun Pawn Stars, on the other hand, has a bunch of down-home good ol' boys that are, at least, likable. None of that glitzy Vegas crap.
It is very unfortunate and short-sided of the History network to have canceled the best pawn how out there.
Jack Reacher (2012)
Not worth going to see
If I could give this one half star, I would.
Lee Child writes a terrific series of Jack Reacher novels. Unfortunately, this movie does NOT reflect that. Miscasting is the biggest issue. Jack Reacher is 6'5", big, and very intimidating. Tom Cruise is 5'7" (probably in heels) and couldn't intimidate my 6 year old granddaughter, let alone any man bigger than 5 feet tall.
To have him play the part of an ex-MP, and supposedly an expert in firearms, hand-to-hand combat, former sniper, etc., is ridiculous. In fact, I would say this is a very good farce. Reminiscent of Dean Martin playing Matt Helm many years ago. I laughed through many parts of the movie as I found Tom Cruise ludicrous. I finally gave up and walked out in disgust.
Redo it with Liam Neeson, Steve Austin, Duane Johnson, or Vin Diesel as Jack Reacher. at least those guys are intimidating.
People not grounded in reality and Tom Cruise fans will undoubtedly like it.
