Suits (2011)
Addictive, easy to watch. One of my all time faves.
Love love love.
From beginning to end, this series is masterfully and tastefully executed.
The characters are all very well played and remain interesting, alluring and funny to watch.
Now after watching suits we often refer to people as a Donna! Because her role in this movie is just wonderful.
The only person I didn't like from the get in this series is Megan marble or whatever her name is.
Her character was fine but her acting was what u thought to be terrible. And they should have had someone else play that role!
Lewis!!! One of my faves. Funny, annoying, nasty, revengeful, innocent, touchy, bossy, compassionate, caring, spicy and genuine all in one bundle.
Clap clap clap to the suits cast! Absolutely amazing right down to the extras!
The cases were all interesting too! Amazing highly recommended.
Road House (2024)
Violence - ridden -
Well if you e joyed the equaliser and the Liam Neeson movies taken; you'll enjoy this .
We all squirm when the hero of the movie is eventually beaten to a pulp and it seems there's no way out for them.. but then they come back to defeat the baddies all the while being beaten up and battered themselves whilst doing so.
In this case, the hero remains a constant cutlet winner.. and even at the end when it looks as though he may be beaten... he's not.
My only annoyance with this movie was the girl at the bookstore.. I don't think the role suited her and I found her acting to be inadequate for the character she played. I quite often didn't understand her as she spoke because she didn't seem to move her mouth much and overall just didn't fit in well to the movie.. ending was average but overall I enjoyed the movie.
The way he fearlessly fought was great; but at one point I wasn't sure if I was watching a "super hero" movie when it appeared he may not feel any pain.. but later I learned he did - however that confusion was marker of what I'd suggest is a very good B grade movie. Would watch again.
Love Rat (2024)
Depicting Narcissistic Abuse
An easy watch; action, thriller, drama, and mystery, romance.
At first glance it appears to be a series which delves into the well known and most common dilemma many vulnerable individuals fall victim too; that is the romance scammers.
However by episode 3 it becomes apparent there's more to the situation than meets the eye.
A realistic scenario of psycho narcissistic abuse lurks behind the series true plot twist.
This series has moments of suspense well played. Well done to actors involved in this; I recommend watching and enjoyed it as a laid back series watched in one sitting.
Emma's life ahead of her is worthy of series 2 where she may link up with the local authorities to detect and prevent potential scams from happening again to other women in the community she decides to live in. Great series.
