funny mockumentary
20 July 2002
well worth a look, funny mockumentary. its actually pretty accurate to what community theater can be like, overly-ambitious, pompus, resulting in sheer amateur absurdity. very funny at times, perhaps a bit too long. good performances, particularly fred willard, an underrated actor.

A must-see
20 July 2002
A must-see for all rock and roll fans, this is the pen-ultimate rock film ever created. The drug-entagled, mesmerizing oddessey of burnt-out rocker Pink is an amazing journey. Filled with flashbacks, dreamscapes, and haunting gerald scarfe animation, Alan Parker has truly captured the tragic, soul-searching spirit of the original Pink Floyd Wall LP.

Hilarious

The opening sequence alone is worth the cost of admission, as Cheech and Chong drag that big ol garbage can across the parking lot, filled with gas. "Don't Spill it Man !", hilarious stuff. And then, as 'the plot' ensues, you're in for one heck of a ride. I watched this film recently and it holds up, being just as funny upon each viewing. check it out.

very cool movie
19 July 2002
"Budget Liquor" is a little gem of a film. Alot of fun. Very smooth, well edited, well constructed, in short, a very creative work of non-fiction filmmaking. Kudos to filmmaker Morgan Miller for digging up some rare tunes by underrated Jersey Rock/Blues Man Paul Whistler for the film's soundtrack. I enjoyed it alot. "It isn't easy being a Budget Liquor Customer."
