How I Met Your Father (2022–2023)

Another Netflix Garbage Sitcom
22 January 2022
I gave this a shot, because I heard there was a Bob Saget tribute added to the first episode which was nothing but a dedication in the credits. I see now it's just another terrible and extremely unfunny Netflix sitcom. I don't see how they make so many bad sitcoms on Netflix.

Interesting whodunnit, but MAJOR plot holes
9 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I really thought I had it figured out before the end. I thought there was a twist to explain something that never got told. For instance, how did Lennon's body not decompose after an entire year of being dead? I kept thinking this would get explained because there's no way any show would actually have her float up dead and look like she's been dead for hours, not a year. Plus the water and animals in the ocean would have accelerated this. I'm so mad they didn't even try and explain that.

Huge film location plot hole
22 June 2021
Ok so this show has the manor filmed in LA's historical district pretending to be a house in San Francisco. I've always been able to buy that fact (despite having been to the house outside downtown LA). The thing that throws me about this episode is the filming of Prue on the bridge. You can see downtown LA clear as day several times during all the bridge scenes. This was sloppy editing. They could have filmed the scenes in a way that didn't show a city that looks nothing like San Francisco or anywhere near it.

Stolen plots.

I like the show alright, but the outright stole a character from Grey's Anatomy. The gay guy they added looks exactly like Schmidt from Grey's. He's also a short brown haired Jewish gay character. I don't even know how this show got away with that.

Vitamin E acetate in street cartridges that were compromised are all that is dangerous. No one has ever been hurt from vaping THC unless it was tainted. Was this sponsored by Korean Tobacco?

Could have been worse
14 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The music was great and it had it's moments. No resolution with what was so special about the lake. No concert at all. Loved Margaret's purée scene. The end scene was touching. Witt all the seasons being connected I don't see how Ramirez comes to Hotel as a ghost every Halloween prior to 2019 if he's alive still in 2019. I think that's the part that bugs me the most. When that was revealed I was sure it was a movie or Madison's hell. Nope.

No story progress, Wonderfully directed
14 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
By far the weakest episode this season. For such a short season with the most commercials of any season, we didn't need a filler episode. The music and directing was awesome though. Ramirez popping up during the lyrics of "Eye of the Tiger" match up with perfect synchronicity if you watch with subtitles. The one scene where it's an homage to Friday the 13th and the boat scene was awesome. There just wasn't any story at all. You could skip this episode and it has ZERO impact on the season. I think this was probably the worst episode of the entire series, writing wise at least.

This is the show that ruined AHS.
17 October 2019
When this show became a success and Ryan Murphy got 20-30 Netflix projects, I knew he'd let American Horror Story suffer.

Since they cut 1984 short I'm no longer watching any more RM shows since he spread it too thin. Way to trash the series that made you!
