Behemoth (2011 TV Movie)
3/10
poor science to boot
21 April 2012
The movie begins with a pair of geologist meeting their fate on the mountain. Equipment gets lost as well as their lives. We get back to some of the equipment at the end of the movie.

In the following scene, at the work-site on the mountain, men were standing around. Joe picks up what looks like a toy rocket and hands it over to our hero. No one offers a guess at what it is and it is promptly forgotten when the tree limb falls on poor Joe.

I am left to wonder how this discovery fits into the rest of the storyline. Did I miss something here or did the film editing forget about continuity? It is not worth the effort to go back (again) and look for the connection.

Cyborg She (2008)
Excellent!

Warning: Spoilers
OK, it was a bit long but necessary to maintain continuity. I was totally surprised by the storyline. The 'robot' was HOT but he never got to first base. This was a tad bit unrealistic but then, it was a comedy. I may return to this movie again.

There were nice touches of him visiting his hometown back-in-the-day. It seemed to me that him & her were invisible until the little girl spoke to them directly. The cat disappearing from his apartment just before the big quake was another nice touch. The scenes of the destruction of Tokyo were excellent and detailed. Kind of prophetic speaking in terms of the events of 2011.

The ending, repeating the beginning, was necessary to give significance to what might have been forgotten. Certain new details were given when it was seen through her eyes.

Great movie!

Montana Mike was the title by which I knew this movie. Black-and white, IIRC. I was but a youngster when it came to our third-rate theater in the Cheltenham district of Chicago.

The movie had a great impact on me as a nine year old and I recall the two main actors. Otherwise I would have never found this site. I recall only a few things about this movie. "Michael" showed a great interest in the likeness of the Ben Franklin ($100) bills and wanted one so he could take it back with him to show Ben. "Duke" takes this as a bribe. There was a shoot-out where an innocent life is lost. The name of Duke's joint was "Pair-o-Dice" (Paradise).

I too would surely like to get my hands on a copy. I am not a great watcher of TV so I missed many opportunities seeing it again.

P.S. It appears that my 'name' did not allow for the nested numbers. -Danof79th
