Perfect

I love absolutely everything about this movie. Interesting plot and great actors/actresses. The story-telling is succinct and the CGI still holds up surprisingly well for 1997. Chris Tucker deserved an Oscar for his performance. He acted well out of his wheelhouse and did an exceptional job. His humorous character playing off Bruce Willis' tough-guy makes for a great final quarter of the film. If you've never seen it, do it now.

The Predator (2018)

Loved it
11 April 2021
Went into this movie blind after going on a Predator movie binge. It was great. Afterwards I saw the low IMDB rating and decided to read the reviews and find out why. It was all a bunch of whiny movie snobs who expected an action movie to be an Oscar contender, so they gave it 1 star ratings. I could see how it could be a disappointment if you went into it expecting a serious action movie like the original, but to hate on it enough to write a bad review saying it was the worst movie they ever saw? I normally don't write many reviews, but I had to do my part to let people know it's a actually a solid flick with great actors and a hilarious script. Not surprising it's the same director as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Nice Guys, both of which have similar humor. If you love all types of movies and want to be entertained for a couple of hours, watch it.

Hilarious, Thoughtful Show!
19 December 2015
I am a big Rob Schneider fan, always have been. This show is a lot different from his movies, and I imagine there is a grain of truth in a lot of what he says and does. His wife is stunningly beautiful and has a great personality, the dynamic between him and his friend/employee is funny and I LOVED the stalker. I found the first episodes to be very rough and of poorer quality than the rest. Once you get through them the show really starts to take off, and by the last few episodes I was on the floor laughing. I felt the show did a good job of showing both the positives and negatives of being famous and living in LA, something most of us will never get to experience. I really hope this returns for another season and thanks for the laughs!

Nothing Mind-Blowing but Certainly Better than the Reviews Would have You Believe
10 February 2015
I'm not sure why so many people have left bad reviews for this show, there truly are a lot of snobs writing reviews here. It seems like a lot of them are from people who dislike Katherine Heigl as well. Who cares! The plot is great and it has picked up pace in the most recent episodes. No it is not Homeland, but what do you expect from a show on NBC? The main reason I watch movies and television is for an escape from reality and I really could care less if a show doesn't accurately portray the government and CIA. If I wanted this, I would watch a documentary, which I do quite frequently. If you take it for what it is, a fun, entertaining action/drama, then you will enjoy it.
