The Terminal (2004)
An entertaining, heart warming spoof
If Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are involved, the film is sure to be a winner. The script was creative, imaginative and unpredictable. Zetta-Jones and Tucci played their unrealistic characters in believable roles. The rest of the supporting actors were superb and won my heart. The timing, blocking and direction of the sets were as good as it gets and the music flowed brilliantly. This is a film for everyone of every age and race. The story lead us to believe that Victor and Emilia would eventually fall in love. I was impressed that Victor and Emilia just shared eye contact in the end as opposed to falling into each others arms and leaving together. The entire ending was filled with compassion with the police officer, the custom agent and the janitor braking the written rules. It is a film for all ages, races and creeds. Great job! I'll see it again.
Cabaret (1972)
Perhaps the Greatest of them All!
The story is intriguing and genius, the casting perfect, the music legendary, the wardrobe a ten, the sets...made for the movie, great!, the choreography, so far, there's been nothing better, the dancers wrote the book and the acting and the performance makes you frown and smile when you need to. It's a WOW!
Ankle Bracelet (2001)
Certainly a script that intrigues you.
The script is clever. You don't suspect the suspected. It's true to life, of what life, most people don't know.....Thank God. It makes you think about how life has so many characters. The clash of different origins so close to one and other, defines the phrase, "the line in the sand", stand out. Normal people are attracted to the bizarre. Else... there wouldn't be, a bizarre.
