Can't understand the hype!

Honestly, I tried watching this on the advice of friends. After one episode I was left bemused as it was so amateurish. 'Keep going' was the advice from everyone. I did and was very sorry that I did.

Even with the great Ron Perlman could not raise the standard of acting, or the dialogue. The clean cut, well groomed characters are supposed to be the meanest and toughest bad asses around. It was all so unbelievable and unconvincing - it reminded me of Prisoner Cell Block H, it was that corny.

The plots, characters, production and characters are so unbelievable and I was unable to invest in any of it. I resent the 4 hours I wasted tbh. Utter trash!

Over hyped rubbish

I am genuinely stunned at the positive reviews of this programme. I wasted hours of my life trying to see what others' say they saw.

Poorly acted, poorly written, no empathy for the characters and utter disbelief at the amount of positive hype for SOA.

Many could think that my review is troll like behaviour, it isn't.

A Triumph

Simply put, this film (despite its omissions) is an absolute triumph. Queen fan or not, it will give you a glimpse of the brilliance of Freddie Mercury and a snapshot of his early solitary/lonely lifestyle.
