The Originals (2013)
it has everything!
I had strong expectations from this show, and I wasn't wrong.
I love the story, and I love the originals family. We have fight for power and fight to keep family together, some romance but not too much. also we have Vampires vs vampires, witches vs vampires, in the same time and all together it makes this show really great to watch.
Also, I love Elijah voice and Elijah character. He is a #1 star in this show.
All the boring stuff from VD stays in VD world (mostly drama around love triangle), everything good from that show has been moved here. I love it!
Gossip Girl: Hi, Society (2007)
Great villain and great music
First of all, I do not how many time they spent on making this episode. But it was perfect.
Blair has a lot of reasons to be angry on her boyfriend Nate, and Chuck is - Chuck. These three are very complicated characters and that makes this triangle is tough for everybody - as Nate and Chuck are really good friends. or not? Celia 'CeCe' Rhodes is a perfect villain. She used every dirty trick she can in order to get what she want. Lilly wasn't able to fight her, and she was her first victim. After 20 years she got a chance to fight back: she helped Serena by bringing Dan, and that was something that even Cece liked. She was beaten, but she has every reason to be happy. That was an epic moment. This amazing scenes were followed by great music: The Pierces - Three Wishes and Timbaland - Apologize ft. OneRepublic. Also, Gossip Girl lines were perfect to make this episode even better.
Best Gossip Girl episode - ever!
Community: Custody Law and Eastern European Diplomacy (2011)
Heroes and villains
I liked Chang (Ken Jeong) as a teacher, and I would like to see more Chang on the show. I would like to see him as a part of the group as I find him always interesting, unlike some characters from the group(Jeff, Britta and Annie). That is why it was very interesting to see what will happen between him and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown). She is charismatic but for some reason here story line wasn't very interesting one, and I guess that this twist could change it.
Other side of story was unique. This is a comedy, so you do expect to see some funny characters. And although Annie wants to cover all "ethnic basis covered", she is not the one that introduces guy from Balkan. As I mentioned, this is a comedy, and I am pretty sure that you can find funny, unique and special people in every part of the world. From Balkan we've got villain. I mean, every country has its heroes and its villains. From Balkan we've got a villain - one of the biggest villains ever in this show. His story will show ironic look on video games and killing people in them. It would be stupid to say that video games should be banned because of this, but some people might read them on the way that we never could imagine. Also war or killing people really looks like game.. Take a look at the plains: Pilots have controls that are similar to those you have in video games, and their goal is to hit the target, just like in a video game. And for some young Balkan, American, Iran young soldiers - war is a game!
I do not think that character like Lukka should be in a comedy. The way that story "ran away" from him had to happen, but it wasn't good for the show.
Also, I would like to mention that Balkan is not a country or union - it is a place (territory). It is not great when you do not mention one country or region at all and than you show villain like this one. Somebody might think that you are a racist..
Rules of Engagement: Family Style (2009)
Best episode of season 3
It's hard to say which character or story related to character I've enjoy the most in this episode.
Adam with soul patch believes that he is cool, and acts very funny while Jeff, Russell, and at the end, we - can enjoy. Adam looks like a teenage boy that is in some phase of growing up, and is experimenting, discovering himself or older guy that wants to be younger and/or cooler. This situations are hilarious by definition.
Jeff doesn't enjoy having meal in "Family Style" which includes sharing his food with friends, so he gives his best to create master plan to avoid unpleasant situations and save friendship. It's funny to see how much effort will he invest in this, and will something go wrong?
And the winners are:Russell and Timmy! Russell asks Timmy to start seeing psychiatrist as him, and that's something we already saw in some TV shows, but the way it's done is very, very funny. If you want to see why Russell should not be left unsupervised and how will he react when he founds out that, than you had to watch this episode.
