Behind Her Eyes (2021)

Massive twist at the end. Too much fantasy for my taste

Yes, it's thrilling and the story and the actors keep you watching. The Scottish accent is funny, too. The twist at the ending is a bit too weird for me, but hey, that's a matter of taste, of course. Overall, I enjoyed watching it.

I loved the first episode. Interesting story, suspense and a bit of erotic, good actresses- I thought this might an amazing, atmospheric series. But the longer the action was going on, the more the story gaps, but especially the unreasonable behaviour of the characters and the non-logical dialogues with people saying nothing without reason were annoying me.

A 10 for the idea and the start. A 2 for the execution of the later episodes and the finish - a 6 in total

Thoroughbreds (2017)

Cool movie

Actually, I loved it. Black humour, suspense, thrill. I even found the conversations kind of sexy, although the movie does not contain any sex scenes.

Blackout (II) (2012)

Somehow thrilling in absence of any logic

Positive: the base scenario of someone hacking the power supply of Los Angelos. The plot is thrilling and also entertaining. And Anne Heche, I love Anne Heche.

Negative: Several lines of action in parallel, without being interlinked. The longer the movie goes on, the more irritating are the logical gaps, and at the end I felt annoyed.

If you are in a mood for an action story with many people being killed, then this might be the right thing. If you are looking for straight and logic entertainment, maybe not.

Mara (I) (2018)

I never heard about sleep paralysis before I saw this movie, but obviously I experience it myself sometimes

Interesting. I know that feeling. Waking up, unable to move anything, even unable to breath, pressure in your chest, panic ... I always thought it is a nightmare, one that feels real, but still a nightmare. If I am fully awake, if starts feeling unreal like a dream, and after a while you forget about it - again like a dream. So, I discovered something about myself.

But without this, and beautiful Olga. I probably had stopped watching after 15 minutes. The story feels exaggerated to me, too much of horror effects.

Landscape? Fantastic. Leading actress? Great, adorable. But logic gaps and stereotypes? Unbearable. I stopped after 2,5 sequences.

One of the best things I have seen in recent years. A little bit of teenage love story, a thriller, a bit of monty python humour, a road movie, a nice touch of Tarantino, dialogues in a funny British English accent I'm not used to (sorry, I'm not an English native speaker), and all that coming with a great sound track. So cool. I want more of that...

The Sinner (2017–2021)

Great suspense. But the logic gaps are too obvious

Just finished season 1. Great thrilling story, good actors, worth to watch. But unfortunately the logical gaps are keeping me away of giving 9 or 10 stars ... e.g. why did the police not investigate on Phoebes' death? Why haven't they never asked Cora or the parents about the date Phoebe vanished? After finding her dead body that would have the usual proceeding, I guess
