This Is 40 (2012)

If you can depersonalized This is 40 form Knocked up. I see good drama comedy.

Many of knocked up fans came hard on this movie mostly because they were disappointed to see no main characters form Knocked up and the only relation between these two are just references in couple of dialogs. This is fine writing for drama comedy and movie has given equal depth to plot. By the middle of movie I was completely drawn into the world of Pete and Debbie.

There are many funny scenes in movie with nostalgia of daily mundane life. One scene of Principal office really cracked me up. As usual Megan Fox is eye candy. She has pleased her fans with habit of taking off cloths whenever she has a chance.

This movie is more about couple who are coping with fractured society we are cultivating around our self and of courses teenagers making their life more difficult!

This movie could have been much more better with more depth of plot and characters. Without it, this thriller became much more predictable. Olivia Wilde is trying to do variety roles in her carrier. She played as a dysfunctional girl/sister who is dependent on her brother. Script did not gave enough to color her character. Movie more focuses on Eric Bana. Eric did deliver his best but movie died in middle when plot became very much predictable. Another weak development is between Kate Mara and her father. Cinematography is refreshing. With lot of major plot holes somewhere movie becomes difficulty to process. Even though this Movie just revolves around immoral characters, there is no moral for viewers to take home. This much less thriller is for those who are fan of either Bana or Wilde to see them on screen.

I fall asleep twice before I finish this movie. It took big effort for me to finish just because I like Charlize Theron. Already Keanu Reeves gave his worst performance in this movie. Here is list why this movie suck according to me....

1. Lack chemistry between characters from the beginning. 2. Both are great actors but their performance wasn't at their best. 3. Plot was not very convincing and looked very much forced to give sad ending. 4. Even being 2 hr movie somehow it failed to get into character which was quite painful. 5. Concealed life of heroin was not appealing to be mysterious as it should have been. 6. Keanu can't do out of skin character. 7............................

even my points stated boring me. Everything about this movie is boring.

Slowly it will take you on journey till the edge of deep abyss....to fall in or not is your decision. Surprising, touching and moving. I watch this movie after watching many seasons of scrubs and this movie totally washed Zach Braffs goofy image from my mind. A brilliant story with brilliant direction touching many aspect of social issues. Each scene kept holding me in anticipation of what would be next development. It reminded a one unplanned meaningless journey which ends up asking so many questions about life.

Each character has been carefully shaded and colored. Movie allows plenty of time to enter into each one of the characters to grip hold into our mind. I find this movie very entertaining cause I didn't expected anything from movie. I would recommend you same, watch it as just another movie and I am sure you will find it just more than regular movie.

Flipped (I) (2010)

Memories, scars and climax.

Every time a innocent love teaches so many things, what we can't anticipate. Each time its different and genuine. Flipped is another story which will make many of your memories revisit. Well acted and directed movie grasp story from very beginning and goes through lot of twists or flips we may say. Apart from love story, director did good job to capture high spirited character of Juli. Her energy on screen is infectious. As one song goes Sun's not too high, love gonna take you down, a stubborn boy learns his way to find where his heart belongs.Overall a beautiful tale from one the fine director with good support from rest of cast.

Rio (2011)

Adventures of Bird Blu!

It's story of how love compels to break comfort zone and discover our new self. Visually stunning Rio is brilliant stroke of writers to add magic to adventures and love tale of endangered bird "Blu". Story wouldn't have been same with Samba, carnival, beaches, mountain views, Tram buses if it was not Rio.

The whole story revolves around Tamed Blu and wild Jewel. Jesse Eisenber and Anne Hathaway did their best voice acting. Apart from Blu and Jewel there are plenty of characters which build story effectively and added plenty of rib tickling moments.

Even though story is simple and very much predictable with obvious ending, still story survives to tell a tale of love despite differences. Brilliant animation in 3d will take you on Journey of adventure and fun!

A must watch for its animation!
