Seriously!! What's the Point?

I am utterly disappointed in the movie. The Media made it seemed like a very good movie, went to Cannes Film Festival, awarded with Asia Pacific awards, etc, etc. I started watching, being aware that this is a Drama genre movie, and had expectation that it would be a good drama. After watching for 1 hour 47 minutes, I was totally lost. I mean, what's the point of the movie? Where is the story? Where did the story lead to? Tried to give a social message of sexual harassment at workplace, but the portrayal was very ordinary. The color grading, cinematography, color tone, camera works, screenplay, direction, everything was a total waste. Most 10/10 reviews in here are fake, surely posted by known people of the production team and cast.

Doob by Sarwer Faruki was a waste, this is a greater waste by multiple times.

It was just a waste of my time and bandwidth. I live in a country where internet line is slow, content bandwidth is limited. I downloaded a 700 MB size version of this film which took me 4 hours, and to finish the film it just took me roughly 15 minutes, because after 10 minutes I had no other choice except to fast forward it to the end. By the name of the movie, I got interested in watching, thought it would be something like American Pie. But it was a absolute disaster. Just telling awful would be less. There is nothing to tell about this movie. It cost me almost 5 hours (thanks god I didn't watch the whole movie) and 800 MB content bandwidth which I will never get back.

If you like to see bullshit, you can watch this. This review system won't let me vote under 1, so still this title is getting some marks.

A Piece of Art

First of all this movie will not appeal the regular Hindi movie audiences who would like to see a hero and a heroine and a romanticism growing with elements of beautiful songs and music. Sorry guys, this is not for you. It will appear tremendously boring for those (Most of the reviews will tell the story).

Just change the setting and location, this movie will become a Hollywood movie (Art Type). There is no hero or heroine in the movie. It is a tale of 4 people, their lifestyle, and Mumbai's rapidly disappearing living history. The idea of the movie is little ahead of the regular audiences.

If you are into Art Films, watch this and enjoy every bits and pieces. If you do not understand art, please never try to watch this movie.

Fight Club (1999)

Predictable, Overrated

I just watched the movie today only for the reason it is rated #16 in IMDb Top 250. Before watching I had no idea what the movie is all about, even I did not know the cast. I just knew the name and nothing else, not even the genre. After watching the rating, I downloaded the movie with some expectation to be something very good. But I was disappointed. It had nothing special. Even before the midway of the movie I suspected and predicted that the character Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) is made up by Edward Norton. In the end my assumption came true. It was Edward Norton all the way who was the psycho. Maybe watching "Secret Window", "The Machinist", "American Psycho" gave me the drive to predict about the story. Yes, this movie was released before those three, but I watched those before. As an entertaining movie, it is OK, good. But it has nothing to be rated as #16 in Top 250. I feel this movie is very much overrated like "Pulp Fiction" (Which is the most overrated film in the history). I haven't found anything to call it a special movie, or this is nothing that I would like to watch it again. This movie is a one time show, do not expect it to be something special or classic. I just don't know why the psycho movies are so popular in USA.

Pulp Fiction (1994)

Most overrated movie of All Time.

OK, yes, this movie is pretty much entertaining. The acting of Samuel Jackson and Bruce Willis in the movie was good to enjoy. If anyone sees this movie for any entertainment purpose, he/she will not be disappointed.

But I just don't get the idea that why this movie is IMDb No.5 of top 250 in the list??? If you see the first 4 of the IMDb top 250 and then come to see this movie, then you are truly going to be disappointed. People are calling it a "masterpiece", "one of the best of all time", "best movie I had ever seen", etc, and I am truly surprised with those reviews !!!!! I haven't found anything to call it a great movie, or a masterpiece. The movie is good, but very much overrated by the common people. The story is fine, cinematography is fine, acting is fine, but nothing great. I am very much disappointed by the opinion of so many people who call it a masterpiece or great movie.

If anyone who haven't seen this movie yet and planning to watch it in near future, do not sit to watch with great expectations.
