Pretty good for first time director...
23 September 2008
I borrowed this from a friend who raved about this cool little Indy. I must say I was impressed with the pace and story. Then I later found out the director and star is only 20. Yeah it is low budget but I was able to see past the dirty finger nails and stiff acting to see this guy has talent. The film keeps you interested and it is hard to believe it clocks at almost 2 hours. If you want a good Indy crime drama then find a copy of this. I ended up buying it from my buddy and added it to my collection. I can't wait until I can see what this kid comes up with next. He is no Jarmusch or Fesenden but he is damn close and to be honest this kids first film is better than their first films. Find it! Watch it! See for yourself.

Moral Orel (2005–2009)

Great parody of a crappy show...
15 May 2006
I remember the old "Davey and Goliath" show and thought it was dumb when I was 10. This is a great parody of that show. The humor is on the lower end of the "South Park", Family Guy" spectrum. It is a funny show. I don't understand why some people don't like it. The episode where Orel gets hooked on crack is hilarious. The episode where Orel starts drinking had me laughing for days. What I like most about the show is it keeps with the "Leave It To Beaver" mentality with out being cute. It is worthy of its Adult Swim counterparts and should be given consideration.Give it at least three episodes before passing judgment or go to the study with dad.

Project X rocks!
31 December 2002
I have seen this movie numerous times and still enjoy seeing that yellow 1957 Chevy known to readers of the most popular car magazine as "Project X". For years I have seen that car in various magazines but to see it on film is something magical. Oh yeah, the movie is funny also. The Robert Wuhl character was insane. I had a friend like that in school. All in all the movie is a good way to spend an afternoon if you are a guy. Hey, if you look real close when Newbomb's brother is looking for Newbomb, the driver of the truck looks amazingly like Robert Englund. I caught a glimpse of this and rewound and paused for 15 minutes. But I will watch the movie for the car more than anything.
