The Search for Santa Paws (2010)
Great Family Fun
This movie follows the adventures of Santa Claus' helpers and his canine companions as they try to rescue Santa after he's lost in New York city.
This was a delightful movie for the whole family. While it may not have the 'Big-Ticket' production quality of other Disney blockbusters, it was made with Disney standards.
The dog animation is accurate and the actors are well cast. The humor is light but witty and there is only one scary scene that may frighten very little viewers.
Overall a nice little movie that the children will enjoy with their parents.
Grown Ups (2010)
A train-wreck!
A bloody-awful would-be comedy. Or perhaps an exercise on incompetent film making.
We rented this at Redbox not knowing how bad it was. After 10 minutes it was quite obvious that this was pure un-funny garbage.
There was something to be said about the TV show 'At the Movies' that would have warned us about disasters such as this one. So the lesson is, make sure you scan as many movie critic's reviews before spending $10 dollars at the theater, or $1 at Redbox just to see such an awful movie.
Grown Ups was a wasted dollar.
