Not sure why this got any bad reviews
10 April 2024
I found it fascinating and wholesome, the canman made it for me, what a legend, love that guy.

Basically 2 respectable Finnish girls get 3 months works in a rough Australian bar, easy watching and would love to see how the next girls get in.

Rogue Heroes (2022–2024)
Naysayers forgot to use a pinch of salt lol
12 November 2022
Based on a true story.

Most of the following events which are unbelievable, Are probably true.

Something like that, anyway this = PINCH OF SALT, ARTISTIC LICENCE you numpties lol

I honestly couldn't believe some of the whiners on here.

From the 2nd half of ep 2 onwards was wild, I loved every episode.

Been a big Jack O'connel fan since he first started out, and boy did he smash it!

All actors were great

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to switch off their whiny nit picking brains and enjoy a fantastic British production.

The music worked just fine, and I'm not a fan of a single track played. I don't dislike them, but yeah... numpties like to wine.

I am SO looking forward to the next season.

9/10.

Everyone I've recommended this to loved it, and I've ordered the book on amazon.

Can't wait to read it!

Or you could use the toilet basin to smash his head from behind the door?
27 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Agreed with other posters that say this could have been so much better. It started off fantastic imo then ebbed off into mediocre.

Maybe more logic would have saved it, I don't know....

Everything was there for the taking, maybe the director was rushed with a deadline?

Anyway not a terrible movie, worth a watch. But yeah, a toilet basin with 1 hit would be better than a phone handset filled with dirt lol.

Highlights and exposes the greedy in denial scum that caused this.
16 August 2022
It was a good documentary, no doubt.

I personally didn't enjoy it that much because of the cognitive dissonance of the greedy scum that put the event on.

Especially that bald pièce of ****.. Sitting in his big shiny office present day STILL in denial.

The only enjoyment I got was seeing this lot exposed for what they did to those kids.

Let's give out a 1000000 candles after what's been going on, yeah great idea. Smfh. They should have their asses sued.

For All Mankind: Polaris (2022)
Season 3, Episode 1
THIS IS FICTION -Ignore the bad reviews!
1 July 2022
Please don't be whiney cry babies and give it a bad score because....... THE SCIENCE! WAHHHHHHHHH!

Geez get a grip, this is about SWITCHING OFF your brain and enjoying FICTION based in an alternate universe. So guess what? They can do what they want! I'm pretty sure their demographic WAS NOT scientists!

By voting this down because you don't like the science (that the show NEVER proclaimed to be accurate) Is just immature and whiney.

Because you didn't switch off your brain and watch the show like it's meant to be watched, as ENTERTAINMENT.

All your crappy scores become moot, as do your opinions.

Ignore the haters, this is a fantastic bit of entertainment !

Yeah I loved it and would highly recommend.....
29 October 2021
I just didn't like Judys' character (not the actress, she was fine). So season 8 and 9 weren't in my top 3 favourite seasons because of that.

The rest was excellent.

Invasion (2021–2024)
It's OK so far....I guess.
22 October 2021
First 3 episodes are done pretty well, but they are dragging it out somewhat. I'm still hoping that when it finally does kick off that they do a good job.

So far a 6.8/10 from me, and just hoping they nail the rest of this season. 🤞🏼

Had to come back and drop the rating from a 7 to a 6, although I think 5.5 is fair so far.

Episode 4 and still nothing has really happened except some drama, quite disappointing :(

Y'all ignored the fact that this is FICTION
17 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I too hate all the woke bs in the world right now, but I LOVED this show and cannot wait for season 3. I didn't care one bit that there was loads of women in powerful positions, or that there was loads of drinking and drama, it's FICTION.

Sit back switch off and you'll love it, sit there and pick holes in it like it's factual and you will hate it.

Absolutely gobsmacked at all the negative reviews, stick to documentaries and comment on them, because fiction is clearly not for you.

10 stars for balance as this show deserves to be an 8.5+

Had to rate it 10 because of the STUPIDITY
2 February 2021
This is a genuine 6.5/10 movie, good entertainment, nothing particularly new, good cast and acting. It's a popcorn flick ffs! Can't believe the stupidity of people on here giving it 1,2 & 3 stars. Get a life!

Noble Savage (2018)
Wow, this reviewer must have been on their phone or something through this film 🙄
31 December 2020
I nearly didn't watch it because that useless review, and I'm so glad I did! This kid was phenomenal in this very powerful drama, based on him trying to get his father back with his (recovering) drug addict mother. She has an ex convict boyfriend but still has a private love/hate relationship with her ex (the dad). The kid is a mummies boy, adores her as she does him. But he's a good kid and very mature for his age. There was NOTHING shocking until the last 20 minutes, which completely debunks that stupid review above. And when the heavier stuff happened it still wasn't 'that' bad. The end scene was very simple and summed up the entire movie with 1 simple scene, NOT laughable in any way shape or form.

I give it an 8/10 as the acting and directing was excellent, but rated in 9 to balance numbnuts review up there 👆

Fantastic as long as you switch off when the credits roll
1 December 2020
There's a few added scenes during the credits which SHOULD NOT be there, please trust me and switch off when they roll.

If you do, you will have a cracking movie that will have you glued to the set til the end.

Wow - As an Englishman I've never seen a film like this before
30 November 2020
I feel like I've learned something from watching this, I'm not sure what yet, but I loved it!

I didn't realise it had comedy in it, but feel like I laughed in all the right places.

The acting was superb and the whole concept of the had me fascinated and completely immersed.

I'm going to recommend it to friends but not sure how yet. I guess I'll tell them have an open mind and go with the flow, as it's an original and fascinating experience in film making and class culture. Something like that, I'm going to have an enjoyable rethink about what I just watched.

In fact I've decided I'm definitely going to watch it again at some point very soon.

Bravo 9.5/10

This and The British Line of Duty are my fav cop series
13 November 2020
Seriously, watch them both. You won't regret it.

This is dark and written with so much care, as is line of duty.

I mention both purely as they both get a 9/10 and both have excellent arcing soy lines, with more twists than a Cubby Checker convert.

Simply brilliant

People rating this at 5s & 6s save no business watching films like this.
12 October 2020
This is Dyer at his best, in his best film. Excellent British gangster flick that captures the 80's perfectly. If you like gritty brit flicks you'll love it, if not STAY AWAY and eat soy.

It's an 8/10 but I had to give it 10 because of the ridiculous low scores.

Sy-fi channel-esq but still ok
2 October 2020
Don't really want to slate this as it tries really hard. Kept me up til 1am and I still rated it a 6. Low budget (tried a bit hard to be higher budget) sci-fi with just enough to make you want to see it through. Music was a bit over the top in places, the actor that played the little kid (although small part) is going places, watch this space. Trailer made it look much better than it was unfortunately. 6/10 seems fair.

Haven't seen a single review mentioning Harry Melling...
16 September 2020
You know little tubby Dudley Dursley from Harry Potter? Well I just did :) I think his (short) part was more believable than Patts, although patts still was pretty good.

Tom Holland steals the show though in this (not necessarily new), but great movie.

A dark tale interwoven nicely with different characters' stories, I'd recommend it to people over 25, anyone younger might find it a drag.

Needed more cgi disaster bits, not even one tsunami.
6 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Also needed more shots of the big one hitting and soon after. Just a family running around trying to find each other with a few fireballs. Considering these types of movie have been done before, you'd expect this one to be better. Shame.

The bad reviewers are CLUELESS lol
26 July 2020
This isn't any normal kung-fu series, it's like Quinten Tarento and Guy Ritchie teamed with the director (who's great in it btw, you get me?) and created an extremely original entertaining graphic series, like nothing I've seen before. Even what they did with the dialects was an excellent little surprise.

Do NOT watch if you are offended by; Violence Nudity Profanity Sex Racism Drugs Or lack of soy

Like all the bad reviewers clearly are.

I won't watch it if they can't be bothered to even get that right!

Big Legend (2018)
This a 6.7 from me, but I had to mark it 10 due to the unfair reviews.
5 July 2018
Basically this is an easy watchable film for any film fan. The acting in the first 10 minutes, was good enough to be in any A list film. It had a fair few MINOR flaws, but not ONE of these ruined the film for me. I only had to suspend my belief a few times to really enjoy this movie For what it was. Solid 6.7 for me, worth a watch for true movie and bigfoot fans.

Stranger Things (2016–2025)
For movie lovers aged 38 to 44, and kids who love 'old movies' ie from the 80's.
11 February 2017
I'm in my early 40's and this series paid homage to 'literally' most of my top 20 movies from the 80's.

It wasn't perfect, but it was dripping with so much awesome nostalgia I didn't care. It's also perfect for kids aged around 10 to 14 who love movies , and especially older movies. Well to that age group the 80's is old movies. Whereas Super 8 for example was made for a target audience of kids only important.

I loved the cast as almost every character outshone themselves, watch this space for a least a couple of future mega stars!

This series was great fun, especially to the age groups I've mentioned above.

9 out of 10 from me, can't wait for the 2nd season.

ETA - I started episode 2 at midnight, and just finished episode 8 now (7am).I'm so tired I'm borderline delirious @_@
