First Reformed (2017)
I Regret having ever watched this movie
I wish I could have every second of this sacreligous propaganda film erased from my memory. It disgusts me on so many levels. It mocks religion to promote an agenda. In one scene, a Church woman who is a Choir Pastor matter of factly says TO THE Priest, And I Quote "No marriage can survive the loss of a child". That's such BS. If you're religious, BE WARNED, this is not the movie you're looking for. Stay as far away from it as you possibly can. Guard your heart from this blasphemous trash.
Action Point (2018)
Just wanted it to be over.
I would give it a zero if I could. Very painful. Nothing good about it. Almost got up and left which I've never done before. Thank goodness for the movie pass or else I would have demanded my money back. Grateful that it was only an hour and fifteen minutes. I wouldn't have made it any longer.
You Were Never Really Here (2017)
Don't Waste Your Time
This was a colossal waste of time. There was nothing to like about this movie. Thank goodness for movie pass or I would have demanded a refund for this one. It's best to just skip this one! It wouldn't even be worth watching if someone walked up to your front door and gave you a free 4K Ultra HD version of it. I can't even think of a single good thing to say about it. Why would they put this in the theater?
Truth or Dare (2018)
One of the BEST ENDINGS EVER
After reading all of the negative reviews, I went into this movie fully expecting it to be a dud. But Regal is offering extra benefits for seeing 4 Universal movies this year (this is one of the 4), so I said what the heck. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. I really ended up getting into this movie. It's so different, very unique, filled with creative ideas, and entertaining throughout. The movie held my attention and it flew by. But the ending is where this movie will be remembered the most. It is without a doubt one of the most CLEVER ENDING's I've ever seen. The ending alone is worth going to see this movie. I have a strong feeling that too many people went into this movie with a negative bias, thus the reason for all of the negative reviews. It is also clear that most people clearly missed the entire premise of the ending, otherwise there would be more people on here raving about the brilliant ending to this movie. I certainly didn't see it coming. If you are one of the few who actually understand the ending, then you will definitely walk out of this one with a smile on your face.
Gravity (2013)
I was duped into watching this movie.
I haven't gone to the theater to watch a movie in over a year and this movie just confirms why I don't go anymore. Three words describe this movie. Disappointing, Overrated, and Unimpressive. What a joke. Don't waste your time. Stay home and save your money. I honestly believed this would be a good movie. The reviews, the critics, the actors, the cinematography, everything suggested a blockBUSTer but unfortunately it was a total BUST! I was bored out of my mind. Some of the dialogue was so cheesy I was squirming in my seat and looking around to make sure no one saw me. How could anyone give this a raving review. Please. I get the feeling that the buildup to this movie is just as fixed as the stock market.
