The kids are great
16 August 2004
Two young actress really do something amazing. Very talent indeed.

This is a movie which you're looking again and again with pleasure. And hopefully with your children. There was only one thing that bother me and that is something less important when thinking of the target audience which is naturally children. That is some special effects that look like a little cheap and probably because it is. But when you look this again you don't give a heck. That don't spoil the film at all. Maybe this movie affect to me so positively because I've two girls of my own. But I just can't imagine anybody who wouldn't smile or laugh during this warm and nice piece of art.

When it's bad enough it turns to good
23 October 2003
Well I didn't have too much expectations of that movie and maybe that was the key for the pleasant experience. The humour really works for me. But to be honest I have to say that Ponterosa is a "cheap movie", many of the actors are not a real actors, sounds are occasionally veeery lousy and even the storyline isn't too shake. But even though I liked it :]

Waste of talents
6 August 2003
Actors are not bad in this film as a matter of fact acting is very good and believable. Also the filming is quite good as much as I can say something about it. But when the actually story is sooooo foreseeable all the way to the end then you just can't enjoy the film. Sorry :[

Surprise not just meaningless banging
6 August 2003
I really thought that I have to look a film with lot of and even more just meaningless shooting. But no no no well of course there was also banging but not too much. The movie really surprised me by having a good storyline. Not waste of time at all! Great acting by Benicio Del Toro and Juliette Lewis and also James Caan is good but somehow he just seems to be himself...

Good credits
25 February 2003
You need to be in right "levels" when watch this nice movie if not it could feel a bit too sweet... But anyway I liked and I have to say that it's quite rare that you really watch all credits at the end, isn't it. Well, big thanks from that to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole who performs own version of songs Somewhere Over The Rainbow and What a wonderful world. AMAZING ending for the movie!!!
