The Menu (2022)

A24 watch out! Voldemort is coming for the horror genre!

A24 has been my favourite horror producers over recent years and nothing has been able to come close to their movies until today when i watched The Menu, which actually surpases some of A24's recent horror movies imo.

This is not what most of you think it is going to be and i think you will be glad of that. I mean a horror movie with the title The Menu is definitely going to give you some pre notions of what is to come and you will be pleasantly surprised.

This is what would have become of Voldemort if he went to a culinary school instead of Hogwarts.

This was great fun to watch and had me hooked all the way through.

Make Me A Bird

Any fan will know what i am referring to with the title of this review. For those who have just watched this episode enjoy your new addiction to this amazing scene and music when i say Make me a bird and i'll fly too, beyond the confines of this sick sick game!

I loved this scene and thought this episode was so powerful. Then we are treated with Make Me A Bird again in the outro with a cool end credit scene. If you are not enjoying Hemlock Grove by this episode, maybe it's not for you. For those of us who are totally engrossed by now have 2 more seasons after this and they are great.

The Wheel of Time (2021– )

Men ruined the world enter Rosamund Pike. Sounds all too familiar

Seems she always appears in shows portraying men as bad. No need to watch further after the opening words of arrogant men who ruin everything and saviour women and enter Rosamund Pike being the first person on screen says it all for me. Hard pass.

Scary Movie (2000)

Hilarious parody of 90s horror movies. As a teen of the 90s i still laugh to this day.

If like me you are a fan of 90s horror such as SCREAM 1 & 2, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Blaire Witch Project and have a good sense of humour you're going to love this. I watch this once every year and still find it funny.

If you have not watched the above mentioned movies I recommend you do so before watching this or you wont get any of the references.

The rating is far too low for such a well written parody by the Wayan Brothers. This is by far their best project they ever done.

If you are looking for a fun night with goofy fun jokes with a little bit of horror thrown in then I recommend this. I would be surprised if you don't laugh at least once.
