The 4400: No Exit (2007)
Season 4, Episode 8
8/10
One of haunted buildings
29 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Very interesting exercise in this episode to make the NTAC headquarters a cursed building, which wants to murder its occupants.

Filled with surprising twists, and putting Tom Baldwin and Jordan Collier on the same side for the first time, working together to survive and save their own, the chapter is gripping, full of suspense.

In line with the tradition of creepy and terrifying buildings, we can mention the Bates Motel from "Psycho", the Overlook Hotel from "The Shining", the Dakota house in New York where "Rosemary's Baby" was filmed, the mansions Amityville Haunted Houses, "The Haunting", "The Legend of Hell's Mansion", "Terror at the Wax Museum" and many more. Appealing to cursed houses is a recurring topic in horror movies. This time it was the turn of the always safe NTAC headquarters, and it shines as the protagonist.

The 4400: The Marked (2007)
Season 4, Episode 6
A retro episode
29 June 2023
Interesting episode. Curtis Peck is an imitation of the young Orson Welles, well acted by an almost unknown interpreter. The atmosphere, the twists in the script, even the music, remind us of the old sixties series The Invaders.

The part where Shawn is torn between being a politician to oppose Jordan Collier, or continuing his healing work at the Center he has opened, thus changing the image of the 4400, becomes a subplot in this chapter.

Joel Gretsch seems a bit disconnected here, Jacqueline McKenzie beautiful, bold and compelling as ever, and Billy Campbell well in his messiah role. Mahershalá Ali is missed this season.
