Roswell (1999–2002)

Crash Into Me.
9 April 2012
I remember watching this series back when it aired in 1999, or maybe it was early 2000, after all I live in Norway. I was also attending my last or second last year of elementary school and uncertainty was a subject regarding next year would bring at middle school was prominent. Anyways, this was during the times of the great Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and of course Roswell.

(Warning with some major spoilers which also are minor, strange but true.) The main story is about three teenagers that are connected to the crash in Roswell, New Mexico all the way back to 1947. If you enjoy(which I still do) Buffy then you will most likely enjoy this. The characters, the music, the storyline, the ups and downs of these teenagers are incredible. The relationship between Max and Liz rivals the relationship between Buffy and Angel. Its one of the most beautiful love stories I can think of, and I promise you after you see the pilot and hear "Crash into Me" by Dave Matthews Band play at the end while these two starstruck teenagers connect you will be hooked. Not to forget Sarah Mclachlan fear playing while Liz lays dying. Another song that will be forever indistinguishable is Dido's intro-theme. To contrast their relationship we have Michael and Maria, whom totally are irregular and funny, and pretty intense, and almost even more charming than Max and Liz(!) Also Alex and Isabel brings some certain charm to this show. Even Kyle and his father sheriff Valenti, whom both are very annoying are also extremely fascinating and unique.

While some of us fans find season 1 the absolute best, the remaining two seasons are entertaining but they are a shift from the more personal and exciting drama/mystery/science fiction of season 1. For reasons you have to find out yourself, I give this serious a 7 out of 10. While first season deserves 9 out of 10, its what comes after that somewhat destroys the scoring. However you look at it, this show is a legendary show that should only be compared to its likes, like Buffy and Angel.

If you are looking for a show to fill the gap that Buffy gave you, this is the show, and it will make you reminisce back to the earlier seasons of Buffy. The mood, the chemistry, the feeling is marvelous. This seriously will feel like something larger than life. And you will feel that you died and just came back to life five days ago. So come on, you will be starstruck, for a while at least!

Futurama: A Clockwork Origin (2010)
Season 7, Episode 9

Farnsworth goes evolution on everybody's asses!
15 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This is by far the best episode this far in the new Futurama season. I have not really enjoyed the new Futurama before this. This episode is devoted to the hypocrisy of creationist and religious fanatics who just don't listen to science, or to be more exact; evolution. This episode explores the idiotic arguments of the anti evolutionists "Wheres the missing link between the former missing link" presented by an orangutan. Farnsworth gets angry with all the nonsense so he makes some nonsense of his own, but in the end Farnsworth goes evolution on everybody's asses! Its the most interesting episode yet by far. And I at least cant wait to see what more they got in store to next time!

Blue Mountain State (2010–2011)

Blue Mountain State

Warning: Spoilers
I came by this television series by an accident, and I gotta say; some accidents are worth it! I laughed my ass off! In fact, I almost began crying of the 3 episode, which is the funniest yet! The whole show is a deliciously funny mix of National Lampoon's Animal House and Van Wilder(THE FIRST ONE!)(!) It is on Spike TV and is aimed at young adults, which it hits, hard!

Darin Brooks play the main character Alex Moran, a freshman quarterback who is Van Wilder incarnate with a really slacker mode. He performances beautifully, he is as ironic and iconic as the Van The Man. Alex always hangs around with Sammy Cacciatore(Chris Romano) who is the insane team mascot and also Alex's roommate. Alan Ritchson(Aquaman) plays Thad Castle, a team captain mega jerk jock. He was so serious in his role as Arthur Curry in Smallville but he pulls it off, big time! I was shocked at his performance, really. He almost lays Steve Stifer of American Pie to waste. He is hated by everyone, and he is a top hazer, and yeah; he has a pocket p***y, and banging that thing is like banging a sunset over the ocean. How he can channel a superhero and a bastard so good is a mystery. Thad gives the series so much! The show also has another Smallville character who proves he can be more than a sidekick wannabe, Sam Jones III plays the role of Craig Shilo. He is a hard working football player who almost every time get in trouble because of Alex and his friend Sammy. He has a girlfriend who is a fascist and a total lunatic.

I've seen 4 episodes now, and I gotta have more! Please give this funny and morally lacking series of booze, woman and college life another season! I love it's spirit, it's feeling and tone. More GOATS! MORE GOATS!
