Jasper Bagg first worked on-set, beside James Coburn, 30 years ago, in Death of a Soldier. Since then he has worked ceaselessly; in many Melbourne film and television productions, ranging from Round The Twist to Ned Kelly and more recently The Straits and Miss Fisher. Jasper’s work has afforded him the opportunity to work beside such luminaries as: Russell Crowe, Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger, Rachael Griffiths, James Nesbit and Brian Cox. Further, he has acted in, or directed, more than two stage shows a year, including twelve productions at WAAPA, before his graduation in 1990 and he continues to visit many schools as Prince Hamlet. He recently completed a five year term as President of the Victorian Actors’ Benevolent Trust and he also mentors actors for international screen tests. Jasper has only just returned from Asia where he played a lead antagonist in Japan's first ever spy thriller motion picture Joker Game.

I have truly enjoyed the balance of grit, humour and pace of this series, but this episode reeks of rotting - I don't know what. Crappy coincidences, unbelievable relationships - especially the Murtaugh parents and their daughter - and totally unacceptable investigation methods. Sure the series has pushed the envelope of truth, but this episode is sorely lacking and terribly hard to watch. However, I will acknowledge, for some unknown reason, the final fifteen minutes seemed to have been written by a different, superior writer. Bring on episode 15...
