Spider-Man 3 (2007)
8/10
A mixed bag and disappointing, but I still liked it for what it was
28 September 2014
Everybody hates this movie for too many things going on, and Peter's little night at the Roxbury dance scenes. I completely agree that Spider-Man is a superhero and superheroes don't dance. It is completely unnecessary and is a big zero to the film even though it was sort of hilarious. However if they did not have him dance in the movie, I think it could have been a lot better and I think people could have like it better as well. This is a very mixed bag to say the least. However, I don't think having too many things is a bad thing because when you have more stuff going on it makes it more watchable. In Spider-Man 2, barely anything was going on and it was so boring to watch. In this one a lot of things are going and that is why I still liked Spider-Man 3 for what it was. The special effects are still outstanding as ever. I like the theme forgiveness in this movie and it anchors the film. I thought the cast is great. Kirsten Dunst is still good as Mary Jane. Thomas Haden Church is great as Sandman and I liked the subplot with that character. The CGI Sandman and the fight scenes between him and Spider-Man are awesome. I thought James Franco and Topher Grace stole the show. The conflict between Peter and Harry still works in the film. Franco helps anchor the film. Topher Grace as Eddie Brock fit perfectly as opposite Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and did a good job. A lot of people were disappointed with Venom and I was too but I also thought that it was awesome when Venom appeared in the movie but was not the real Venom I was expecting. I liked Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy but was completely underused here. Tobey Maguire has some great moments and tries very hard. I enjoy watching him sometimes and liked his evil Peter Parker moments, but he is just annoying and was ridiculous with his punk hair. I also thought he was too nerdy and took spider man as a celebrity way too far. The climax of the movie: They did a great job of setting up the climax and it was awesome seeing venom fight spider-man for the first time as well as fighting Sandman at the same time as well. It became exciting as it went on. I love the set up: Spider-Man and New Goblin vs. Sandman and Venom; perfect. But it started looking like a cartoon and was disappointing. Venom did not look like Venom anymore and they should have came up with something better with the Spider-Man and Sandman ending. But it was still overall satisfying. Also, J.K. Simmons is still perfect and hilarious as J. Jonah Jameson.

The fight scenes, action sequences and special effects are even better than the previous films but it still looked like a cartoon. The cast makes it happen and I like that there was more plot lines and characters. But the dance scenes ruined the movie and Venom had barely any screen time. Maguire has great moments but is annoying and does too much.

This is a mixed bag. Spider-Man 3 is good but it is disappointing that it is just good because good is not good enough for a huge event movie like this. Has great moments but also has sluggish moments as well.

I still liked it for what it was. It just could have been great.

Spider-Man (2002)
9/10
The very first Spider man film and still the best one and one of the best comic movies and debuts of all time.
28 September 2014
The first spider man movie ever hit the big screen in 2002 and is still a classic today. It's an amazing movie and is so original. The best of the Raimi series and the best spider man movie of all time. Tobey Maguire is excellent as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man and is convincing. Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin makes a menacing and entertaining villain. He is my favorite spider man movie villain. Kirsten Dunst is perfect as Mary Jane Watson. James Franco is also has a great supporting role as Peter's best friend and Norman Osborn's son. The love triangle between Peter/Mary Jane/Harry and the conflict between Peter, Harry and his father Nroman are very strong here and serve as the movies great conflict. The special effects are amazing in this movie. Cliff Robertson and J.K. Simmons also give great supporting roles in the film as well. The story is also fantastic.

Overall, this is an amazing fun original debut for Spider-Man on the big screen and still stands as one of the greatest comic book movies of all time. People think that the sequel is even better but I strongly disagree with everybody who thinks that. This is still the best spider man movie to date. An excellent cast, great effects, gripping conflicts, and a great story.

9/10 Amazing!!

Overrated Spider-Man Movie in my opinion! Too much love duty
28 September 2014
All the critics think this is the best spider man movie and call it one of the best superhero movie of all time and everyone else calls it the best one too. But in my opinion, I think that this is an overrated spider man movie. I like that it starts fresh and has very funny moments particularly J.K. Simmons who is still fantastic as J. Jonah Jameson, but as the movie goes on it starts to get boring, especially for a spider man movie. The special and visual effects are great and spider man looked as real as ever, but the movie drags on in the middle part. Tobey Maguire, who was excellent as the titular character in the first film, lacks heroic presence in the movie. Kirsten Dunst sort of disappoints in the movie a little bit but still is convincing as Mary Jane Watson. To be honest though, I thought Alfred Molina was not that menacing as Dock Ock. He lacked as a villain for me in this movie and I prefer the green goblin over him from the first film. However, James Franco I thought really does a great job in this movie and is my favorite performance in this film but is a little underused.

Overall, I thought this movie is just good, not great as everyone else thought. The first hour is excellent but becomes too boring and too much love duty afterwards. Maguire and Molina are disappointing as the hero and the villain. Dunst is still good. The special effects are still amazing. Franco and Simmons both steal the show.

Overall: 7/10 Good but overrated Spiderman Movie my least favorite one.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

The greatest three-quel of all-time to the greatest trilogy of all-time!
23 June 2010
I've seen a lot of disappointing three-quels in my days. Pirates 3, Shrek 3, Spidey 3, X-Men 3, Rush Hour 3, and much more. But this movie is not only a great three-quel but it could be the best three-quel of all time. Everything in this movie is excellent and I mean everything! It is dark, hilarious, clever entertaining, colorful, amusing but most of all it is very emotional, especially at the end. Thankfully, I did not cry on the outside but I cried a lot in the inside. Toy Story 3 is unforgettable and I am sad that there will never be another toy story movie but unfortunately it had to be ended. What a way to end a perfect movie and, I believe, the greatest trilogy of all-time. I am begging every single person to go see this movie instead of some crap like Prince of Persia, robin hood, the A team, or especially Jonah Hex. This is the best movie of the year and is the best movie of the decade... so far.

The greatest wrestlemania of all time and the greatest wwe ppv ever!
29 April 2010
I finally get to comment this ppv.I remember when I watched this when I was a kid with my dad and his friend and it is fair to say it is the greatest wrestlemania of all time. Also, I have not seen a ppv better than this. It is probably the best ppv ever in sports history.

Match #1- Inertcontinental Title match William Regal vs. Jericho- This was a very good opener with Jericho's high flying manuvers really owned the match and it was funny watching Regal getting his chest beat up. It was really red. 7/10.

Match #2- 6 Men Tag match APA and Tazz vs. Right to Censor- Nothing really great but nothing really horrible it is just a fresh 6 men tag match. Decent. 5/10 Match #3- 3 way dance for the Hardcore title- Raven vs. Kane vs. Big Show- This match was just plain crazy and had extreme moments. There were men going through glass, walls, the crowd, getting ran over by a car and even falling off the stage. Freakin great! 8/10 Match #4- European Title Match- Eddie Gurerro vs. Test- This was solid wrestling and also offered interference. 5/10 Match #5- Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit- This one was the first best match of the night and it was superb technical wrestling from both these technical wrestlers. It went back and forth. Each showed how truly great they can be and got the best out of each other. 9/10 Match #6- Women's Title Match Ivory vs. Chyna- This was not a let down from the show and it was a good thing it went short. 3/10 Match #7- Shane vs. Vince Mcmahon with referee Mick Foley- this was an interesting match and it was entertaining. Watching the high flying crazy moves off the turnbuckle from Shane including him beating the crap out of his dad which as freakin hilarious! It also featured a cat fight and very good story lines. 7/10 Match # 8- TLC for the tag team titles Dudleys vs. Hardys vs. Edge and Christian- Match of the night! This is my favorite ladder to watch and it was plain chaos with tones of bodies going through tables and falling off ladders not to mention falling on the floor while hanging on the belts. AWESOME! 10/10 Match #9- Gimmick Battle Royal Match- It was very cool to see the old wrestlers again and it was quite entertaining. 4/10 Match #10- Undertaker vs. HHH- Great brawl between these two and it was more of a street fight than a regular match and it also had some crazy moments. Bloody match. 8/10 Match #11- WWE title match The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin- What a main event. It is one of the greatest main events to end the show and I believe it is the greatest feud of all time. It was their best match together and features their greatest performances ever in the ring. I also enjoyed the video package leading up to the match. Another bloody match. By the way, you would not believe the ending it had and it is the most shocking twist in wwe history! 10/10 This was an historic night and should be remembered by all wrestling fans in the past and today. I believe this wrestlemania had a huge impact on all of the wrestlemanias after it.

This is one of the greatest wrestlemanias of all time!
28 April 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Wrestlemania 24 will go down in history in the top 5 greatest wrestlemanias of all time. WM20 was suppose to be the greatest but it wasn't. WM21 was good but not great. WM22 was great but one of the least favorites of the greatest. WM23I thought was a good show also but very disappointed with the match card. This years set new standards for this new WWE style today particularly having no blood and still had great matches. No spoilers. I hope not.

Match #1- Belfast Brawl JBL vs. Finlay- This was a very good opener with a lot of weapons and a lot of hardcore moves. 7/10 very good match.

Match #2- Money in the bank ladder match- The greatest MITB match ever. Everybody shined in this match. You can even see how the sky when from daylight to dark blue sky and it was an incredible sight especially when the winner celebrated. 9/10 superb!

Match #3- Batista vs. Umaga- While their entrances were spectacular, the match was not spectacular at all and is a breakdown on this show. However it had a good start and a good ending. 4/10 mediocre.

Match #4- ECW Championship match- Chavo vs. Kane- I can't rate this match because Kane deserved it.

Match #5- Career threatening match- Ric Flair vs. HBK- Wow! What an emotional match. When I first saw this I was merely impressed, but the second time I watched it, I really enjoyed it more.Perfect wrestlemania match/moment. 10/10 perfect.

Match #6- Playboy bunnymania- Not a bad match at all. It had tremendous, tremendous lights and atmosphere. It also had decent wrestling for a women's match. Be sure to watch Santinio's appearance in this match. He was hilarious. 5/10.decent.

Match #7- 3 Men WWE title match- Randy Orton vs. Cena vs. HHH- I did not know this was not the main event and I was surprised! I was shocked who turned out to be the winner! 7/10. very solid title match.

Match #8- Floyd money mayweather vs. Big Show- With a no DQ stripulations added, this proved to be an entertaining encounter. 8/10 Great.

Match #9- World Heavyweight title match Edge vs. Taker- It had a great video package leading up to this match and both of these men deserved to be in the main event. It was interesting because not only was Taker undefeated at Wrestlemania but Edge was also. It was a huge roller coaster ride and a great way to end a really superb ppv the WWE has not put on for a long time. What a relief. SUPERB! 9/10

Overall PPV: perfect 10/10.

The performances of Shawn micheals and Unertaker made this show very solid from decent.
28 April 2010
Sure this is disappointing and sure the match card did not live up to its hype but by golly it is not the worst wrestlemania ever! Match #1- MITB Ladder match- Probably the least of my favorite MITB matches but it was still a great way to start the show particularly from Kofi Kingston and Shelton Benjamin's performances. 8/10 Match #2- A diva battle royal match to declare wrestlemania queen or something like that- Abmysal 0/10 Match #3- Chris Jericho vs. Legends Stemaboat,Piper and Snuka- This put me back into the show. Ricky Steamboat looked tremendous.WOW! 7.5/10 Match #4- Extreme Rules match- Hardy vs. Hardy- While it lacked surprises, it sure did deliver some shock and AWE moments. The Hardy that won deserved to win. 7.5/10 Match #5- Intercontinental Title match- JBL vs. Mysterio- Like last years ECW title match I cannot rate it. However, JBL was hilarious and Mysterio had an awesome outfit.

Mtch #6- Undertaker vs. HBK- This is the greatest wrestlemania match ever and one of the greatest wrestling matches ever to see again and again. You will be literally on your for feet the entire time and I was just exhausted after this match. Wish I can rate it 100/10 but of course 10/10.

Match #7- 3 Way World Heavyweight Title match- Edge vs. Big Show vs. Cena- Very good triple threat title match 7/10.

Match #8- WWE title match HHH vs. Orton- I've read reviews for this match and it wasn't horrible it was just not the right way to end the show and I agree Taker vs. HBK should have ended the show but this wasn't a complete waste of time. It has its moments but this main event is far from great and it is the least favorite main event since Wrestlemania 21. But overall over decent match. 6/10.

The performances of Taker and HBK obviously saved the show but other reviews said it was one of the worst wrestlemanias of all time-I absolutely don't agree with that. This is a very solid show saved from being decent. OVERALL: 7/10

WrestleMania XXVI (2010 TV Special)

While improvement over last year's a little bit, it is still disappointing though
9 April 2010
This years wrestlemania improved over last years. I thought it was a very solid show but still disappointing in some ways. ( no spoilers in this review.)Below indicate match ratings: 10/10 perfect. 9/10 superb 8-10 great 7/10 very good 6/10 solid 5/10 decent 4/10 mediocre 3- 1/10 awful, or horrible 0/10 abysmal.

Match #1- Unified tag team championship match miz and big show vs. r truth and Morrison- This was a solid opener but only lasted like 3 1/2 minutes. These wrestlers deserve better . At least 3-5 minutes more. 5/10 Miz and show retain the titles.

Match#2- Triple Threat match randy Orton vs. Ted debiase Jr. vs. Cody Rhodes- Although this match was very predictable, the crowd was really into it. This had good storytelling which kept the match going. Everybody was cheering Orton for almost the whole time. Orton is victorious. 9 minutes. 6/10

Match #3- 10 men money in the bank ladder match- This was of course a very good ladder match but there are some let downs. I didn't see Shelton Benjamin barely in this match nothing spectacular. Also there were no shock or AWE moments as expected with 10 wrestlers in this match (too many wrestlers even though it might look like a cool idea). predictable and a little disappointing. However, Evan Bourne stole the show definitely check this kid out. the most underrated wrestler in the WWE. There are some awesome spots in this match. Not as good as MITB Ladder matches in 2006 or 2008. 13 3/4 minutes. 7/10. Jack Swagger is Mr. Money in the Bank. Should have let Evan Bourne win.

Match #4- Triple H vs. Scheamus- This kind of surprised me a bit. I did not think this was gonna be any good but it actually was. HHH looked good in the ring and him and Scheamus had a good story the veteran vs. the next WWE star. 12 minutes. 7/10 HHH wins.

Match #5- Cm punk vs. mysterio- Man! what an awesome match! It had a great finish! But only lasted 6 minutes are you kidding me shame on you Mr. Mchmahon This should have lasted at least 6 minutes longer if it did then i would have rated it a 9. But unfortunately- 7/10. Mysterio wins.

Match #6- Bret Hart vs. Mr. Mchmahon- This has got to be the most disappointing big wrestlemania match of all time. This totally broke down the show even though the crowd was still alive but i was not! The Hart dynasty carried this match as well as Mr McMahon still looking goofy but they just cant save this match. Bret Hart looked awful and totally unprepared and out of shape for this match. He was supposed to end his career on a high note. Bret Hart of course wins. Boy, am i just disappointied.11 minutes. 2/10

Match #7- Edge vs. Chris Jericho - WH title match- This got me back into the show and it was a great match. As well as a great ending. 16 minutes. Chris Jericho surprisingly wins. 8/10

Match #8- 10 diva tag team match - Awful but i enjoyed it more than hart vs. McMahon match. Should have never been on the card though. 3 minutes. 3/10

Match #9- WWE Title Match- Batista vs. John Cena- this was like stone cold vs.the rock at WM 15. These guys are definitely the two big stars after the great attitude era. John Cena wins. Very good match - 7/10

Match #10- Streak vs. career match Undertaker vs. Shawn Micheals- What a way to end the show and what a way to end a career. These guys have got to be the best performers in WWE history. After Mr. Mchmahon did not put last year's match as the main event finally he gave them what these great legends deserve. Micheals was amazing and spectacular and Taker was scarily moving and phenomenal. The entrances were just superb and the atmosphere in the night was incredible. Taker should never lose at Wrestlemania and it was the most respectful result HBK has retired and Taker might never retire as he goes 18-0. This is one of the greatest main events to end a wrestlemania and a ppv. Unforgettable and emotional main event. 9.5/10 23 1/2 minutes.

Taker vs HBK highly carried the show. I wish this was the greatest wrestlemania though and I hope their will still be another great wrestlemania to come in the near future. This is my last wrestlemania to buy on PPV.

Best result: Undertaker goes 18-0 Worst result: Jack Swagger wins money in the bank. Best match of the night: Undertaker vs. Shawn Micheals. Worst match of the night: Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon

Overall: 7/10
