Dates (2013)

Started good - Ended weak
24 July 2013
An idea for a TV show based on a date per episode sounded intriguing, and the 1st and 2nd episodes set the bar pretty high - they featured good writing, good acting and an interesting plot. But as the show progressed, the episodes became more and more disappointing - The characters were unrealistic, the plot became like something out of a soap opera, and the poor directing did not help. As a single woman, I watched this show thinking it would embody all that is good and bad in the world of dating, but the premise did not prove itself, and I was left with re-heated plot lines and a big general disappointment. This show could have been fun and moving, sexy and sad - like being single in the 21st century - but it ended being just a cheesy and exaggerate mess.

Quantum Leap: Shock Theater - October 3, 1954 (1991)
Season 3, Episode 22

The best in the whole show
24 June 2009
After 3 seasons, Sam Becket finally looses it , and the QL project almost looses him. After undergoing shock treatment in a 50s mental hospital, Sam can no longer grasp reality and fades into the people he leaped into. Poor Al is trying to bring him back to real time, but the only solution is a very painful one. If people ask why Quantum Leap was so amazing, this episode is the answer. Even today, 18 year after its original airing, it is as fresh and exciting as it was before. Scott Bakula received the Golden Globe Award for his performance in this episode, and it is - hands down - his best work in the show or on TV ever.

Trying without succeeding
31 August 2004
This is a film about a girl being involved in office-intrigues and falling in love with the wrong man, becoming a woman... bla bla bla Not very funny, trying too much to be this crazy American-like comedy, while the heart of the story is broken very early in the movie.

I was very board with it and fast-forward the DVD just to see if it would get any better. It didn't, in fact, it got worst. And I love goofy comedies, but this was not good at all. Only if you can't find anything better in the DVD shop - rent this one, and don't expect anything, the plot is silly, the acting - poor, the motivation - low, the music - too much. Have fun!

Love Actually (2003)

one of the worst UK films EVER!
4 April 2004
this is not a movie, it is a commercial. It is like the lovely director said to himself - "hey! I have all these first class english movie-stars... so who cares if the script sucks?" No real emotion, no real moments, everything is like a very very long Hollywood-english moment, trying to make the Americans think that all british people are like in "4 Weddings..." - so sweet... shut up!! It is so sad to see Emma Thompson or Hugh Grant or Liam Neesen and Alan Rickmen just looking a bit daft in regards to what in heaven's name are they doing there.
