The Garfield Show (2008–2016)
2/10
I can't believe they keep showing this godawful show on Cartoon Network!
1 October 2011
Remember Garfield and Friends? That was awesome 80s and 90s nostalgia! I expected this show to be like that, but what I got instead was an ugly looking disaster.

First of all, it was made in France. Why would Cartoon Network show a classic American comic adapted by French?! That's the equivalent of Americans allowing a godawful German film about American history to hit the States. That was the horribly animated The Magic Voyage. This show fairly isn't as bad as that Dom Deluise atrocity, but it's still godawful.

Another problem is the animation. it looks cheap. especially for 2008.

Another problem is the target audience. The unfunny Garfield live-action movies were strictly for kiddies, but this show lacks any charm for adults. I liked Garfield and Friends because it was charming for both kids and adults.

The only thing good, is Garfield's voice. Frank Welker still has the ability to live up with Guy Lorenzo and Bill Murray.

Bottomline: It sucks. I would have given it 1 stars if it weren't for Frank Welker's decent voice.

The Ren & Stimpy Show: Son of Stimpy (1992)
Season 2, Episode 7
10/10
Best Ren and Stimpy Episode EVER! :)
21 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Ren and Stimpy is one of the funniest shows ever! Out of all 52 episodes, this one is the best. The first funny part is the title card with Hallejujah music. It's quite funny. After Stimpy farts (while watching television like an idiot), he runs to Ren and tells him that his so-called son, Stinky came out of his butt. It's very funny that Stimpy believes that babies come from farting. After he tries to find his son around the house, he sits on the rug with a sad face. It made me laugh and cry (sympathetically LOL). Later on in the episode, Stimpy stays outside and Ren tries to lure Stimpy under the mistletoe (LOL). It's funny how that scene uses music very similar to Disney's Pinnochio. After that, Stimpy leaves the house and searches for Stinky. A little while, Stimpy arrives home after failing to find Stinky. After that, Stinky arrives home, gets united with Stimpy, gets married to a rotten fish, and lives with his wife in Ren's nose. It's very rare to see an episode that touches your heart and makes you laugh so hard that you can't breathe at the same time. It's the best Ren and Stimpy episode ever! :)

One of the worst holiday specials of all time.
12 December 2010
*Sigh* Why was this nonsensical episode made?! It had a stupid story, annoying songs, and it this episode lacks the masculinity of the great show (The Masters of the Universe). Also, where the hell is the action?! The children are bland annoying and they make me vomit. We also have the "black mage from Final Fantasy"...err...I mean Orko who keeps annoying us. Skeletor used to be so evil, but in here, he's a wuss. Sure, it may not be as bad as the Star Wars Holiday Special, but I still urge you to stay away from this atrocity! Final Verdict: Another one of those wretched Holiday Specials. If you're looking for a good He-man episode, then watch the first episodes instead!

Flat animation (it looks like Picasso's drawings), forgettable songs, flat humor, and thoroughly boring story.
28 July 2010
The jokes suck, the animation's flat, and the plot is stupid. Compared to the famous Disney movies of the Disney Renaissance, Home on the Range has forgettable songs and a pointless plot. Even the children will dislike this movie, because the "Yodel Adle Eedle Idle OO" song would give them nightmares. No wonder it wasn't nominated for any Oscars or Golden Globes or Kid's Choice Awards! Alan Menken has done a better job at writing songs like "Beauty and the Beast", "A Whole New World" and many more songs that are way more memorable than the songs in Home on the Range. What was Disney thinking?! How could a Disney film this dull have a high budget of $110 million?! If Disney had the time to improve the music and plot, this film wouldn't have been such a box-office bomb! Disney announced that this would be their last hand-drawn animated film, because of the failure of this film. In 2009 however, Disney released their next hand drawn animated film called The Princess and the Frog. This film was way better than Home on the Range. The Princess and Frog had a well developed plot, well developed music, beautiful animation, and cool characters. The film was way more successful than Home on the Range. The Princess and the Frog earned $270 million worldwide at the box-office while Home on the Range only grossed $103 million. Disney never should have released Home on the Range in theaters. It should have been released directly to DVD and video.
