Prisoner Number A26188: Henia Bryer (2015)
Amazing
How could a child be that strong and humble to survive such a horrible stretch of years. Not a question as much as a statement. I agree with another reviewer that I could listen to her speak for hours. I found myself staring into her eyes as she spoke mesmerized by her clarity of the memory of the events. One thing I have learned in my life is that if someone is always talking in details about their military woes and death they have seen in war, then they are most likely not being truthful and making up stories. She is very matter of fact and short on her descriptions of her events. What a great documentary.
The Notebook (2004)
Wonderful
That is the saddest most beautiful love story I have ever seen. I'm 57 years old and I'm a movie guy that has seen many. If you have ever watched someone suffer from dementia it is terrible and sad. I held my fathers hand as he died and he didn't know who I was. Just a masterpiece. The way we push our elders to the side when they get to the point of no return is just awful. This is a story of love and honor that dictates how we should treat our elders for the sacrifice and love they showed us as time goes by. Truly a wonderfully acted and written screenplay that moved me to tears the entire movie.
