No official commitment equals NO CHEATING
8 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this romantic Christmas tale. I found Jake and Rachel to be a delightfully well matched couple.

They both survived sad traumatic episodes in their lifetime. They each experienced completely understandable commitment issues.

I failed to find the cheating accusation to be valid.

Rachel was not officially engaged. Rachel was therefore truly fortunate to find a handsome, wealthy, charming partner before she married the penny pinching Alan. She was lucky to seek a better suitor before getting stuck in a hopeless relationship. Jake was almost immediately completely enthralled with Rachel.

Both lead actors are fantastic performers. I have always adored her on her TV show. It did seem like she was staying with Jake when she stood facing Jake from across the street, at the end..

Where was Candace Cameron Bure?

Warning: Spoilers
I thought the 1st hour of this Stabler return to SVU was great. I'm sorry but then the second hour took over & was a total disaster! Stabler still has an out of control explosive temper. He went off on his own with no back up to meet up with an "informant." Instead of learning restraint & maturity Eliot is still a hot tempered jerk. He doesn't act like a seasoned well trained police agent investigating international crimes. I was very disappointed that Olivia actually allowed Stabler in an interrogation room with a suspect. I felt like a 12 year old solving my first Nancy Drew mystery. I seemed as if I had read the script beforehand. I like there to be some surprise as to who dies, who did it and why.

I shall watch one more episode to see if it improves.

BTW how many 60 year old cops really jump over a car in hot pursuit ? Lol.

Fantastic movie starring Canadian actors portraying Black American icons!
31 January 2021
I really enjoyed this film. I thought the storytelling about a "meeting" between the wonderfully talented singer-songwriter Sam Cooke , the incomparable Malcolm X, the beloved World Champ, Muhammad Ali & the football giant Jim Brown was a realistic eye opener. Unfortunately Jim Brown is the only one still living. I've only seen movies about Sam Cooke & Malcolm X ending with them being murdered at a very young age. Telling a tale about their lives being intertwined at the peak of their fame. was fascinating. I also enjoyed the musical numbers. It's a shame the fictional night couldn't have had input shared by Mohammed Ali (while he was still living) & Jim Brown. Worth watching.

Bosch is Incredibly Excellent as a Police Drama
7 September 2020
Titus Welliver is not an actor that I would have chosen to play Bosch. What a phenomenal surprise. Titus is excellent in the role. His partner, Jerry does a great job adding more tense situations. The older Lieutenants &. Detectives bring more to the story then I would have imagined. The stories are so real & so gut wrenching they are incredibly addicting. I only wish there were more episodes ordered. Cases were tightly wrapped up but it seems that additional episodes could have been more added. After reading every Bosch & Micky Haller novel this series definitely did the books justice. More stories would have been welcomed.

To quick to judge this show-guilty
19 June 2020
I have to say that after I watched the first 2 episodes I thought I had really just wasted an hour of my life. It's been a pleasant Surprise to check this sitcom out more recently. It was totally enjoyable. This is why networks should give new shows a better chance to acquire an audience before arbitrarily canceling them. The characters are quite likable including Jackie & sister Elizabeth and Javier & Luis as they adjust to their newly poor situation and less lavish environment.

Brings back memories of Cagney & Lacy
13 March 2020
I just finished binge watching all of the shows. I DVR'd them but then never had the time to watch. I love the relevant stories. The Me Too, rape story. The domestic terrorist who deviates from the ideals of a peaceful group that just wants to protect people from contaminates & he decides to make a bomb. The series incorporated the changes in our society- it's okay to be gay.. What I love is that if you watch the old Cagney & Lacy cop shows you'll see that in close to 40 years folks have not evolved that much. Its sad really. Some folks don't like this show because it's too "liberal" and they want folks to stop being Politically Correct! Another critic on here didn't understand why there are so many gays. I guess because there shouldn't be any reason for it to be a secret anymore. I enjoyed this show and hope that those who criticize it because they are back in the 50's - will check into 2020.

Enjoyable for those not interested in gratuitous violence
15 October 2019
Definitely worth watching. It's not too scary, gory or violent. It has just enough action. I did agree though that there was no chemistry between Jack and his doctor girlfriend.

Marisa, Wanda & Kerry you nailed it!

Warning: Spoilers
I was so happy that this special lived up to its hype. I always loved All in the Family & The Jeffersons. Sherman, Isabel & Marla never received all of the awards they so richly deserved. Hopefully next year when the Emmys are awarded the performances will be remembered. I was so thrilled to see Marla Gibbs appear- she was always one of the top 3 on The Jefferson's. Woody was disappointing as was Jamie. Happy it was on. The ladies were fantastic in their roles. Great job.
