Buried in Barstow (2022)
And there's more...
The final frame at the end says ... To be continued.
Maybe they will make a mini-series? Hopefully they will some how tie the titles together like Star Wars did.
Passengers (2016)
Very good movie with a few weak plot points
1. The AutoDoc device would either not be needed (who would get sick in the last 4 months of the trip?) or, if needed, there would be many of them for a population of over 5,000 passengers. That would be expected on a trip of 120 years where excess redundancy on the ship would be a primary design feature.
Obviously it has to be non-redundant or there could not be that plot point. Jim could have figured how to trigger the device once inside the AutoDoc capsule if there were two or more of them so they could have survived until the end of the voyage. The androids could have also possibly triggered it.
2. A rotating ship would always have "gravity," but toward the outer hull (re: 2001 movie). The window in the swimming pool would be at the bottom of the pool. The stars in the distance would rotate around the outside of the ship.
3. The thrust engines would only be running to get the ship up to speed and to slow it at the end of the voyage. They might be needed to make course corrections possibly during a slingshot maneuver. Otherwise they would be shut off.
Criminal Minds: Last Gasp (2018)
They hit the mark
The addition of Kim Rhodes as the Assistant Director for these last two episodes is a brilliant piece of casting. Kim conveys the ability to curdle milk with a single glance from 100 yards; she is the enemy you love to hate. Her antagonist part brings out the dedication and camaraderie of the ensemble cast. The development was a little rushed near the end of the episode but it did work. The story line was well developed.
