The Condemned (2007)

One of the BEST Action movies of 2007!

Seriously...this was not "The Marine" on an Island, or that movie with WWE Wrestler Kane. I must say the premise of the movie was well-executed and the action sequences keep you entertained.

The ONLY 2 complaints: 1) The unnecessary Texas girlfriend who is a single-mother of 2 sequences. 2) The helicopter blow-up scene with the girlfriend providing the explosive anklet (somewhat anti-climactic)

Steve Austin plays a VERY believable character and not some tough wrestler wanna-be action star.

The direction and production quality were surprisingly very high.

9 out of 10 for a top 5 Action Movie of 2007!

Disorganized Crime (1989)

A real Sleeper - Very surprising

I was so surprised by this movie, I had to give it some praise. It starts off a little awkward, but it ended up being one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen!! I got it from Walmart for $5 and got more out of it than any $20 DVD. Corbin Bernsen and Ed Oneill give great comedic performances and Lou Diamond Phillips is just fun to watch in this highly entertaining caper. It's not pee in your pants funny, but it is thoroughly enjoyable and worth a look.
