American Dad!: American Fung (2015)
very polarizing
At the time of this review, this episode has an equal number of 1's and 10's (449 each). 9, it turns out, is the least common rating. I can't give it a 10. Tbh some of the 10s are to offset the 1s, but it still has a low rating, over 1 point lower than the next lowest-rated episode.
Anyways, it may be the worst rated episode, but it has one of the best lines. "See, every villain is the hero of his own apple cinnamon monkey toaster." I couldn't stop laughing at that initially and I couldn't tell anyone that line without bursting into laughter halfway through.
Chicago Fire: The Sky Is Falling (2016)
Atmosphere
Oooohh those scenes in the building with the shooters with no dialog, just music. Really draws you into it. And the reactions of everyone afterwards, like Casey after Boden tells him "good job". This episode felt like it kicked it up a notch with no-dialog expressions. For me it did at least. I've never been so drawn in to any scene in any episode of the Chicago franchise.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Wanna-Be Ranger (1994)
One of the best non-multipart episodes.
It was touching, it was dramatic, it was hilarious. And it brought back so many memories and I can truly appreciate them now as an adult. I didn't remember anything about this episode (having not seen it in 25 years) but once I saw it, I remembered everything and that just overwhelmed me with joy.
Power Rangers Zeo: A Season to Remember (1996)
I don't know why.
Binge watching the series before it leaves Netflix and this episode brought me to tears. I don't know why. If it's just timing or what. But I haven't seen this episode since it was originally on and Tommy and Kat are married and have grandsons, one who's a power ranger. Oh My God!
