Glass (2019)
Never Been So Disappointed
It seemed as if M Night was so jazzed after Split to actually have a hit movie again he rushed home and scribbled this garbage 3rd act together. I've never been so upset in a movie theatre. Absolutely awful on its own is one thing, but to ruin the amazing first 2 predecessors is a new low for M Night.
The Prestige (2006)
Amazing Film...A Warning Though!
This film was a typical Chris Nolan, uniquely compelling story and with great actors. Bale really turns in a great performance along with others of course. The twists and turns keep you very intrigued through out the movie. The magic tricks are entertaining and the story is fantastic. You become wrapped up in the rivalry to the point of not caring who really wins in the end, but just really, really wanting to know what happens next because you end up liking both characters.
A warning! Do not think about figuring out the movie. If you start wondering to much about the secrets of this movie...you may very well figure it out, and thats not a good thing. You want to be entertained and shocked..right? I thought way to much when watching the movie that I figured out the ending and final secrets. I am still mad at myself, but still equally loved this movie. So don't make my same mistake. Especially if you've seen Nolan's movies before.
Great Story. Great Acting. Great Style. Great Ending. Great Film. Very unique, you need to see this movie.
Adventures in Dinosaur City (1991)
So Bad..Its Hilarious.
If you and your friends find as much humor and enjoyment from horrible acting, jokes, props, and overall film making as me and my friends, you need to rent this.
From simply reading the tag line and seeing how not funny it is, you should assume more not funny, poor quality, great, hilarious content through out. Its a tale of some of kids who defy every law of physics and reality and fly back in time through a modern day big screen TV to a world of dinosaurs who eventually become their friends. Not to mention a hilariously serious scene where T-Rex becomes a father figure for one of the kids. Yeah...
It should be in the comedy section but you'll find it with kid movies if you find it at all. So call your friends over, sit back, relax, get ready to laugh, and enjoy. You will be quoting the laughably horrific one liners in this movie for weeks. "Whats with all the ruckus?!"
The Wicker Man (2006)
Garbage...complete garbage..
Poor Nic Cage. I went to see this movie alone and with an open mind, even though I had been warned how bad it was. I should have listened. I left the theater simply in a bad mood.
The plot seems interesting at first, with Nic Cage as an investigator to find a missing girl on an island. Cage was obviously the only person in the entire cast who could act. Cage makes you laugh through out the movie at how ridiculous the characters are and the environment. They spend the whole movie developing his character and you really want Cage to find the girl and leave the stupid island.
After waiting and waiting and waiting for the end, through all the stupid twists. They basically just burn Cage's character alive. Thats it. After all the who's and whats and with all the development of him, they just burn him alive. Waste of talent, development, and time. Bad acting, worse plot, and the worst ending. Garbage...complete garbage.
