Baby Geniuses (1999)
Give me Rugrats instead anyday...
The idea of babies speaking adult language had not been a fresh and original idea since Look Who's Talking, which did it right. This movie did it wrong, and ranks amoung the most horrible movies I've seen outside the world of MST3K.
The jokes are funny, but not in the way they were intended to be. They are funny in their attempts to make you laugh and fail so miserably. Ha ha ha.
Kazaam (1996)
Yawn...
It has been a few years since I saw this movie, but awful movies tend to stay in my mind.
This is proof of the fact that athletes should stick with what they are good at: sports. Athletes were not intended to act. Shaq's hideous performance in this movie is proof.
Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation (1986)
Is it really all that bad?
In an era of such awful cartoons, I am rather in shock to see a movie with such good morals make it to the IMDB Bottom List for Animated movies.
This movie does contradict the first. I won't deny that. However, when I was in the target age group for this movie, I didn't even notice, nor would it have mattered if I did. The people who made it may have used "New Generation" to note that this is another way the Care Bear Family could have began. Perhaps we are meant to decide for ourselves how the Care Bear family truly began.
This was my favorite movie at age 3-6, and it did not scare me or confuse me at all.
Grease 2 (1982)
Not so bad...
This movie is really not that bad. I enjoyed it much more than the original, since it encouraged individuality, while the first one not only failed at that, but also totally messed with a good musical in order to make it more of a showcase of the talents of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
