All Rise: Lola Through the Looking Glass (2022)
A what if episode
Was willing to give this a chance, is it a "what if", is it a parody?? It's honestly quite weird, though I'm sure the actors enjoyed changing up their characters.
Not enjoying the whole love triangle plot line, wish they had never started it.
Lola through the Looking Glass lost me at the cussing.
Believe it all not, the f bomb is still offensive to some people.
Professionals (2020)
Escapism
Easy watching, fun show. Nice to have during COVID. Hope it gets a second season.
Avenue 5 (2020)
Swearing is losing me.
Promising show, I mean come on, Hugh Laurie! Story is good, but every f-bomb (and similar) detracts from the story. Believe it or not, there are people who don't speak like this and are offended by constant foul language. Makes the difference between continuing to watch or not. "Not" is seeming likely at the moment
Another Life (2019)
Limited vocabulary
What is with the constant cussing? It detracts from the story. People chosen to save the world who don't have the self control to moderate their language? It's unnecessary.
Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998)
What do you mean, the zombies are real???
I found this to be a rather scary movie, but was not overly concerned because Scooby Doo movies always end with the unmasking of the real culprit, who has been wearing a disguise. Not so with Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island! We get to the end to find that the zombies are real (though good guys). I found this incredibly disappointing, and now find I am checking the plot of any other Scooby-Doo movies that come along. I don't want my kids watching cartoons with this sort of theme and will no longer OK them watching Scooby-Doo movies unless I have checked the plot first. Not one for the younger kids, or the over sensitive kids. I am baffled as to why the writers changed such a crucial element of the show.
