Still good

If I were to write this review when I first watched it long ago, I would've given it a 9 or possibly a 10. For its time, it was one of the best adventure films alongside Indiana Jones. However, no movie is as great as when it debuted. Otherwise cinema would be dull. I personally think this is one of the weaker and slower Pirates movies and many modern movies like Jungle Cruise, provide a crazier and more entertaining adventure. It's iconic for its time, but not as enjoyable as it once was. This is one of those movies I wish I could go back in time and watch for the first time again. It made me obsessed with Pirates.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

Way underrated

How is this the worst rated Marvel movie? Even lower than Thor 2 and Iron Man 3. Crazy to me that my favorite superhero movie is the lowest rated. This movie proves that rating systems are broken, because no one would ever say this is the worst Superhero movie if you asked them.

As for the movie itself. It does have a lot going on all at once. All his relationships are falling apart and we are introduced to 3 villains, who all fight for the spotlight. It's a lot, but it keeps the entire movie engaging and I also think they still give each character enough screen time to where it doesn't feel just thrown in. If Avengers can follow 10 different people, I don't see why a movie can't have 3 villains.

Red Dawn (2012)

So many whiners

Two people hate this movie. People with a political motivation that are upset about the chosen invading army and nostalgia heads that think a movie with terrible effects from the 80s is somehow better. This is a very good action movie, especially for people who like survival war movies. If you go into this not caring about which country they chose to use as invaders and just want a decent action film, it's perfectly fine.

Someone else said it's just a gore fest, which is pretty hilarious. This movie is very light on gore considering it's a war movie. Almost every other war movie has more violence and gore than this film.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)

Close to a 10

While I agree with some of the reviews about the lack of character development and drama, this movie does provide non stop edge of your seat thrill. The airport scene had my mind racing and provided one of the most intense moments I've experienced watching a movie. The whole plot about the villain being an AI program is both great but also not as good as a normal human villain. It doesn't stack up to other movies with great villains like James Bond, but the action scenes and overall intensity are a 10/10.

I do wish there was more drama, but we are also so far into the series that it's kind of hard to keep developing the characters. If you just want a great intense action film, this is it.

Better Watch Out (II) (2016)

Utter garbage

This movie is not at all what you think it is. It's terrible is every single way. I was getting so frustrated and angry that I just skipped to the end to see what happens and turned it off. Movie is only teenage actors, so the acting is half decent at best. I was going to write this review with no spoilers, but honestly I wish someone told me this movie was just a 12 year old kid, who's an annoying psycho, who just kills all his baby sisters exes, who are much bigger and stronger than he is, and then tries to kill her. It only works in Home Alone because it's just random funny traps. It doesn't work when that kid shows intention to actually kill you and ties you up. His little friend is also so annoying and unbelievably does whatever he says.

Army of Darkness (1992)

It provides nothing

I don't get the praise for this movie, even for it's time. It's not scary at all, acting is bad, everything is over done and ridiculous. It's everything modern horror movies get ripped apart for, yet it's fine for this movie. Most people are just saying it's funny, but why wouldn't you just watch an actual good comedy film?

Little to no moments of suspense, everything was rushed, so many unbelievable moments where people should have died or a certain outcome just wasn't possible. I guess my question is, why even watch this "horror" film? This movie really shows why ratings should never be followed.

Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area (2022)

Slow

I came here thinking I was going to be leaving a lower than average score, but I guess I was wrong. Show has too many slow or dragged out moments of suspension. The background stories of everyone are skippable and not interesting at all. The only enjoyable parts of the parts of the actual scenes of the group in the heist. Everything else is really boring filler.

There comes a point when they have a struggle for leadership and inner group fighting. The outcome of this was also disappointing to me.

I honestly haven't completely finished the show yet. On episode 5 during one of the many slow scenes this episode and decided to write this review. No strong desire to finish watching.

The Watcher (2022– )

9 to a 4

Like most other reviews say, the final episode and the ending of the show ruins it all. Up until that point it was a pretty good thriller. The writer was probably thinking that by leaving it going unsolved it would make it more mysterious and better, but it makes the whole show and all the characters feel really pathetic. Just follow the tunnels and see where they lead! It had to have been on of the neighbors that had a connected tunnel. It's pretty obvious. What makes it worse is that they showed us who it was.

I hate feeling like I wasted 7 hours of my life because of a bad ending. Just skip.

The Gray Man (2022)

In this day and age this is a marvel

How this has bad reviews I have no idea. It's like John Wick with a hint of Bourne. No politics, no bs, just pure action entertainment. Such a fun ride from the beginning til the end.

Why all the high ratings?!

So many high ratings, yet complaining in the actual review. Guys, this episode is garbage and you need to admit it. Stop giving it a high rating just because you like the show overall. Arthur is a coward, Tommy is mindlessly running around, and nothing gets achieved. Probably the worst episode in the series.

Morbius (2022)

Super basic story with no emotion

It's watchable, but it's my least favorite Marvel movie. It has the very bland generic storyline that the earlier marvel movies had. Except there are zero points in the movie where I felt any emotion. Also, he's a rich Doctor that can't figure out how to get real blood bags?

Itaewon Class (2020)

I just want to know why script writers think we want to be tortured with love triangles. This show is the worst with it as well. Everyone likes someone who doesn't like them back. I was hooked on the first episode, but it loses its charm as everyone else says and the love stories get so annoying. Idk if I'll continue watching after ep 12... want to give this a 9 for the amazing episodes it has but if I can't continue watching it it definitely doesn't deserve a 9.

Deep Water (I) (2022)

Not a must watch

It was super hard to sit through a lot of scenes and the overall story was very frustrating. The father daughter relationship was the only part I enjoyed. It's very dark, pretty annoying, and not a must see movie by any means. You're not missing out on anything besides dread and disgust if you skip this movie.

The Power of the Dog (2021)

Barely watchable

Super slow. They give away how it ends half way through and try to act like it's a big surprise. Pretty lame and I'm astonished it is getting 8 and 9 from people. Honestly a waste of movie night.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

Great but not the best

It was great with a lot of fan service, but that was also the downside. I don't think this movie has a lot of rewatch ability. Everything this movie does I still feel Infinity War does a lot better. The plot had a few wholes and wasn't too great. It's one of the better marvel movies but not the best and IMO not the best Spider-Man movie either. Still totally worth a watch.

Love Alarm (2019–2021)

Peaked halfway

Show peaked halfway. Had such a good start and an amazing relationship between the two main characters. Then it fell off towards the end of season one. Definitely doesn't make me want to watch season 2 or even finish season one.

Gemini Man (2019)

All around mediocre

The video and audio of this movie are pretty bad. Feels like the movie was shot in portrait mode. The CGI of the younger Will Smith for his main age was decent but the older and younger versions might as well have used Shrek. Terrible. Movie felt super long and drawn out and had nothing different than any other action movie. The "villain" was hard to hate as he really didn't do anything evil and just wanted to make the world a better place in a way. Don't recommend and won't watch again.

No Time to Die (2021)

More of the same

Follows the exact same style as the other movies but with little excitement and a plot that isn't that exciting or intense. Pretty slow and action sequences are nothing special. Still a good bond movie but I like the others more. Also, just them hinting at a female being the next 007 is pretty annoying.

Arrival (II) (2016)

Hard to rate because it doesn't deserve a 7 nor an 8. It's a good movie but very slow paced for nothing really special at the end of it all. Definitely worth watching a first time but won't have you wanting to watch it again any time soon.

Great movie overall but leaves you wanting to find a better medieval movie to watch. To which you will realize there aren't many. The romance, while not at all a big part of the film, is one of the best parts. The main characters are all great and it has plenty of action but not many battles. Does a great job of making you feel hopelessness.

The Green Knight (2021)

I enjoyed the movie. There were exciting parts and it keeps you wondering what is really going on, but it all just leads to such a boring and basic ending. It's just a story about morals and nothing more.

The Suicide Squad (2021)

It's def not the best DC movie. The comedy is a little too much for me. I don't like comedy that's forced and out of place. It's like the Deadpool of DC. A lot of violence and gore and comedy. With that said the story is good and some of the characters are really likeable.

Jungle Cruise (2021)

Hilarious and fun but has Disney politics

Finally an adventure movie. Adventure movies like this are pretty rare and they are my favorites. Cast was great and story was good but predictable. Would've given it a 9 but of course Disney has to put social politics in the movie. They literally comment about how the female lead wears pants 20 times.

F9: The Fast Saga (2021)

Repeat

I love the fast and furious series, but this did push it over the edge. The story is just a repeat story as the last one with different action scenes. It honestly shows this series is just a money grab and the director and producers no longer care about it. It's sad. As for the action, it was very over the top in every single moment. The past movies have one or two impossible moments but this one had like 6-7. The over the top crazy moments have never bothered me, but this was a bit much.

The Courier (2020)

Feels like all the spy movies that have come before it, just with a different name. It's a good movie but I definitely wanted to turn it off multiple times do yo knowing what will happen and feeling as if it was my 5th time watching it.
