Two and a Half Men: Go Get Mommy's Bra (2004)
Season 2, Episode 4
8/10
Money can't buy happiness it contributes to it
3 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This fourth episode is globally a good episode stuffed with good funny situations felt(smelt) with Jake who makes of under the water in the kitchen sink or Charlie who discovers in its car the bra of her mother. Jake once again takes away(gains) the piece but Charlie takes(brings) out very also with its usual pricking humor there. We also see a jealous Alan who eventually triumphs ephemerally at the end (one of the funniest gags when Alan releases(leaves) Judith and has to justify himself then). What is always refreshing in the series it is the disrespectful side which does not fall in vulgar down-market. In any case here is a good not flawless episode but at the moment the best of the season just.

The injustice of the school
2 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This third episode is of a good level but does not get loose either from other episodes of the same kind(genre). It is a classic episode where is underlined well the hypocrisy of the characters in particular the mistress(teacher) of rather funny, more completely absurd Jake. Jake is once again due to his(her) funny moving naivety. The dialogs are globally good without being excellent and the repetition(rehearsal) in the humor is effective but a little bit easy.

It is especially Charlie still who develops the intrigue which shows itself at least predictable even if from start to finish it remains entertaining. For summary no unforgettable episode but a real pleasure to follow all this especially when Jake sees Charlie and his(her) mistress(teacher) together.

The explanations of the hatred of Charlie to her mother
31 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This second episode is rather good but would tend to rest(base) on the bases of the series without setting of risk. We follow two different stories(trouble) one with Charlie and one with Alan but none of the two really fascinates. It gives of the blow an at least uneven episode and what we can judge lazy person(sloth, lazy people, sloths). We see for the first time Herb, a minor character who will then become more important. There is always the conflicting relation between Charlie and her mother but this relation remains in the end unchanged, without considerable evolution.Very fortunately the typical black humor of the sitcom still works thanks to an Alan blunderer, the scathing retorts are present but do not make laugh constantly regrettably. To end we can thus say that we feel(smell) arrived signs of weaknesses even if the series stays of a good level thanks to its numerous resources.

Problematic relationship between Charlie and Alan
31 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
It first one(night) episode of the second season establishes(constitutes) a good episode but slightly disappointing for several reasons. First of all in view(sight) of guest luxury stars in presence such Sean Penn, Elvis Costello we could expect in better, has more inventiveness. The scenario is rather thin and the humor works especially thanks to the charisma of the actors in presence. Charlie is here at the height of his(her) cruelty to his staggering brother of clumsiness. The nasty comic walks(works) at top speed(full capacity).Furthermore, this episode does not stand out completely and is especially considerable for his(her) distinguished guests who do not leave too much their usual registers. In any case the everything remains completely amusing and nice with an Alan sticking in magnificent looser.

Charlie and the children
31 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This twenty-fourth and last episode of the first season stands out as being easily one of the best. Nevertheless the idea of departure is rather simple (Charlie who wants to be made a vasectomy) but she(it) is exploited(run) completely and effectively. Jake is particularly funny here because he is always out of step with the reality. Charlie Sheen is also in great form with its caustic, cynical retorts. This final episode leans on funny, hilarious situations in their incongruities.

We are also conquered by the wholesome freedom of speech of the set(group) with a humor friendly trash which settles only few limits. In summary a very good solid episode not the best step but to see again(to revise) with pleasure regularly because no scene(stage) is low(weak) and it is thus conquered that we stop seeing this first season (one of the best of the sitcom).

Charlie and the utility of the women
31 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This twenty-third episode establishes(constitutes) a robust very representative episode of the global tone of the series. New conflict between Alan and Judith because of the influence of Charlie on Jake. Indeed, Charlie speaks in front of him of its conception(design) of the woman, a conception(design) of course sexist and misogynist. But Charlie managed to knock down the situation thanks to the manipulation. The irony of the situations always walks(works) hardly quite as the dialogs rather successful altogether. The craftiness of Charlie takes him(it) every time.Nevertheless in spite of all its qualities, the episode does not assert itself as a big reference just as an episode which shows efficiency but which is lacking originality in its sequences. But he(it) stays at the top of the basket of this rich season which will have almost kept all its promises.

Alan's problems
30 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This twenty-second episodes focuses especially on Alan's multiple psychological problems which(who) is frustrated. It is a good funny, fluid episode in its chain(sequence of movements) with effective minor characters as Rose ( usual quirky humor) and psychologist. It is moreover the scene(stage) at the psychologist who shows himself as being the funniest thanks to the humor of Charlie but also Alan's release. The retorts sharp come from all sides(spurt out) and what makes the humor work it is also the association with the protagonists who complement each other between them. The everything remains entertaining in spite of some small defects and scenes(stages) which are never constantly hilarious. In any case light one gone back up(raised) with regard to(compared with) previous both episodes.

The hazards of the blackmail
30 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
It twenty-first episodes of the first season is an episode of classic good behavior that does not distinguish itself by its originality. He(it) is served well by the dialogs always so incisive and by the cynical side of the situation. Furthermore, we are entitled has an interesting guest star: Heather Locklear who plays a corrupt lawyer who uses(wears out) blackmail. Once again it is the attitude removed inhibitions by Charlie and his(her, its) particular lifestyle which(who) bring felt(smelt) good funny situations. This politically incorrect episode is situated little near in the average of this season which distinguishes itself by its regularity and which managed skillfully to avoid the too heavy repetitions(rehearsals) even if the themes of the episodes stay the same. Besides we are entitled has the good end which leans on a hackneyed but always effective gag.

The bad mood of Jake
17 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
With this twentieth episode the series accuses one enough level sharp drop while staying at a very honorable level. Why? Simply because the intrigue is too thin and does not rest(base) on not much (Jake's temporary bad mood). Of more the humor sometimes sinks into the repetition(rehearsal) (Jake plays badly the guitar always the same piece) and in the heaviness (the gag of the not funny puppet). The coming of the shrink does not really sort out things. Fortunately some retorts remain funny thanks to Charlie and Alan, without forgetting Jake's funny mimes. But the intrigue results in no evolution of the character of Jake who becomes again happy at the end, where from the feeling to have had to deal with an episode of filling. In summary uneven, a little bit lazy episode at the level of the scenario and of the inventiveness of gags but which remains enjoying to look.

Jake's animated anniversary
17 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This nineteenth episode is a part of big moments of this season which is undoubtedly one of the best of the famous sitcom. We are entitled to the wholesome coming of beautiful Teri Hatcher in luxury guest-star who plays the sister of Judith, Liz. Liz turns out to be the complete opposite of her sister: she(it) is frivolous, flirty, little serious. The contribution of this character is important in this episode because it is thanks to her that we have the funniest moments with a humor always so incisive and nasty. The hilarious retorts come from all sides(spurt out) almost constantly to such a point that we reach(affect) almost the excellent level of seventh and twelfth episodes. Jake makes us have a good laugh with his(her) failed magic tricks and the sexual references are even funnier than usually all this during Jake's birthday(anniversary) which is now eleven years old. Here is a reference episode due to its joke and due to his(her) characters who are any excellent in their different registers.

Jill's surprise
17 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
In this eighteenth episode Charlie has a big surprise one of its ex, Jill became a man, Bill. Practically all the funny situations of this very good episode rest(base) on this funny basic premise. Of this idea of original base(basis), the whole becomes even funnier when Bill goes out with the mother of Charlie who does not know about the history(story). The humor of this episode is very representative of the series at the same time ironic, heavy without ever being too vulgar, cruel. Everything the characters are for the diapason and in particular Charlie and Berta. But it is necessary to admit that all the scenes(stages) are not for the same excellent level and of constancy in the laughter. In any case this episode is one of the best of this rich season due to its originality and its saving freedom of speech.

Alan's will
15 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This seventeenth episode speaks about the decision of Alan to choose neither Charlie nor its mother as the guarding(nurse) of Jake if it turned out that he would die he and Judith. We have here a good solid episode with the relation Charlie-Jake which always pulls(entails) multiple funny situations in particular during the scene(stage) of the hospital. Charlie is once again in great form being of use to us a particularly incisive black humor and Jake makes us laugh by his(her) mixture of naivety and lucidity. Any injury time but can be a light lack of inventiveness at the level of the scenario which remains hungry. In spite of its small defects this episode asserts itself as one of time(weather) forts of this first season thanks to its varied humor (comic of repetition(rehearsal) with the cheeseburger and Alan's mobile(portable)) and constantly effective.

The revenge of Alan
15 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This sixteenth episode is the direct continuation(suite) of the fifteenth we see there Frankie and his(her) daughter settling down at Charlie. We are entitled has a good rather dense episode, stuffed with funny situations. Special mention(distinction) to the girl of rather funny Frankie when she(it) sticks Jake. We also see finally a spread, happy Alan with Frankie and for once a defeated Charlie. The wheel turns(shoots) this time what is interesting from a plot point of view. The dialogs are in the whole of a good level, spiritual, without reaching(affecting) summits. We are enough far from the constant laughter but we are enough amuses and satisfied with the conversely short-lived of the roles. The series continues its path(way) on good solid bases and proves that she can be endowed, mastered even when she makes links between the episodes.

The lifestyle's of Charlie
14 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This fourteenth episode treats(handles) money troubles of Charlie who spends too much money(silver) in all. Charlie has to learn to check quite his(her) tendencies, his(her) usual desires(envies). This episode has nothing exceptional but follows itself with pleasure thanks to the slaughter(cutting down) of Charlie Sheen still so excellent in this role which looks like him(her) enormously. The funny situations show themselves less effective sometimes but remain funny especially when Charlie asks for some money(silver) to her mother. The problem it is because an episode only on it it is a little bit thin and then because we do not see enough Jake. He(it) is also lacking striking minor characters. In any case this episode stays of a good level with an interesting basic idea but exploited(run) in a classic way without big imagination.

The family at the same time close and uncoordinated
13 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This tenth episode is clearly imperative as one of the best episodes of this first season of a very good level. He(it) takes for theme the classic episode on Thanksgiving. Except that here naturally nothing is classic. Charlie gathers(combines) all his(her) family to retie with Lisa, one of his(her) ex, played by the attractive Denise Richards. The episode distinguishes itself by its dialogs which remain almost constantly excellent with always this pricking, cruel and ironic humor. We are also entitled to a cult scene(stage): the scene(stage) of the dinner with the speech of each of the protagonists all very hilarious and who reflect perfectly the personality of each. Mention(distinction) special to Rose with her very moved side. In a surprising way Charlie is charming toward the end because he(it) in the air(sight) for once a little near sincere. In any case here is a very good episode where everything the characters are good balanced and used. An episode which we see again(revise) with pleasure several times.

Frankie goes to Malibu
11 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This fifteenth episode is globally a good episode which contains the main qualities of the series. We have the arrived of a new rather charismatic character: Frankie, an attractive crazy young woman. It is by the intervention of this character that build themselves most of the funny situations of the episode where Charlie and Alan are rival and are in confrontation short of meanness and other caustic retorts. Again it is the dialogs which stand out as the big key point of the sitcom, they are all the way effective here and play on several registers of comic. In brief, an episode of a good very entertaining level in particular thanks to the particular charm of Frankie.

When Charlie and Alan fall ill
11 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
In this thirteenth episode Charlie wants to arrange(settle) a date and wants to be accompanied with Alan who is at this moment a sick person. Charlie is then going to become sick as Alan and the meeting(appointment) will not take place. This episode marks clearly a slow down after the excellent twelfth episode. The funniest in this episode it is the pathetic state of Charlie and Alan who pulls(entails) multiple effective funny situations. But otherwise the intrigue is lacking thickness as for the dialog they are more low(weaker) than has accustomed while remaining honorable. This episode is the example-type(-chap) of the episode of a good level but which is lacking charismatic minor characters and which rests on his/her laurels.

Alan and the women
11 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
The eleventh episode of the series is an episode which focuses on Alan and his(her, its) little assured(insured), clumsy side with the women. Charlie he made change look so that he(it) restores self-confidence in him. This episode marks a light stop in the dynamics of the show, indeed the history(story) is lacking originality and creative funny situations. The dialogs are uneven, less hard-hitting than usually except with the mother of Charlie who always excels at her cruel humor. An episode which a little tends to mark time(be stuck) and to stay on its experiences. In spite of his(her, its) defects we cross(spend) a pleasant moment to see Alan taking things in hand so-so.

Long live Megan Fox!
11 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This twelfth episode is unmistakably an inescapable(major), reference episode for everything the fans of the serial and same beyond. All the scenes(stages) of this episode are hilarious and those for several reasons. First of all because we are entitled in guest-star in sublime Megan Fox who plays the granddaughter of Berta. Of course Jake, Charlie and Alan are under the charm what pulls(entails) many funny irresistible situations as the sequence of the sensual wash of the window. Everything the characters are at the top of their forms with cult retorts which come from all sides(spurt out) every five seconds. Megan Fox's coming is thus for the episode a big person(main part) more because besides bringing her(its) beauty, her(its) charm, it plays very well the premature seducer. In any case here is an excellent, successful episode from start to finish and which shows that Two and has Half Men can compete widely with the best sitcoms. Definitively one of the best episodes of this long series.

The questioning of Charlie
11 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This ninth episode is altogether satisfactory. He(it) contains many funny scenes(stages) in particular those between Alan and Rose who play the Scrabble. On the other hand the character of Wendy is not specially interesting nor charismatic. But it is a good classic episode, a characteristic of the series. The dialogs are always so lively and funny. Of more Charlie questions at the end after an unexpected twist in the drama with Wendy. In any case the sitcom continues on a good way and find his(her, its) rhythm of cruise with good characters ready(in position). He(It) misses nevertheless in this episode a supplement of soul to make an episode of largely above the average reference.

When Charlie and the children become allied
10 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This eighth episode has nothing memorable or of really interesting at the level of its intrigue. But certain situations remain funny in particular scenes(stages) between Charlie and the children who obey each of the orders. What is lacking in the episode except for a solid intrigue it is recipes(receipts) usual that make all the charm of the series. The dialogs are good written but lack of vigor and spine. The episode rests(bases) almost completely on Charlie who in spite of his(her) attitude takes(brings) out there always very well. In summary, a good entertaining episode but which does not appear among the most hard-hitting episodes.

High-end episode
10 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This seventh episode undoubtedly stands out as a reference episode, cult. The funniest in this episode it is the vision that Jake the women and more particularly the breasts (true or false), a vision largely influenced by Charlie at the top of his(her) art of the manipulation and the cynicism has. It is very simple every scene(stage) of the episode are funny, incisive with more some new developments timely. Any slow down, a really representative episode of the fact that is this that is disrespectful, hard-hitting series and resting(basing) on numerous dialogs with the little fine humor but nevertheless never really heavy. Simply one of the best episodes of the season and the series.

Sentimental disappointment for Evelyn
10 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
In this sixth episode the intrigue focuses more on Evelyn, the mother of Charlie and Alan. We learn it more on her and for once she(it) seems more human after his(her, its) loving break even if it is short-lived because she(it) always remains very breakable and incisive. The scene(stage) of the meeting between both families is the scene(stage) pivot of the episode, it shows itself rather funny even if we would have been able to hope even better. A deep point(headland) towards the end of the episode is inserted well. In light an episode which is situated in the good average of the series due to Charlie always so spiritual and hard-hitting in its dry humor.

The advantages of accompanied Jake in the football
10 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This fifth episode is of the most classic it resumes(takes back) little near all which makes the salt of the series but without exploiting(running) up to the end its usual key points. We have the right(law) has some funny situations with Alan who breaks himself the nose, Charlie who has a hangover. The dialogs while remaining good are not also incisive as in other episodes. We shall always greet the freedom of speech of the set(group) on the levels of the themes which are frontally approached, without subtlety although the sexual allusions remain numerous. Be that as it may we have to deal with a good episode no big reference but an intrigue which holds well the set(group).

Inevitable return in the start for Alan
10 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This fourth episode distinguishes itself for several reasons of three first ones. First of all for the first time we have the impression(printing) that puts into series her(it) in found its way, its your mixture of cruelty, crudeness and irony. Other big key point: the dialogues, we are entitled to a real verbal ping-pong with one-liners which are linked from start to finish. Without forgetting a suspicion of vulgarity on behalf of Berta always very cynical and lucid. For all that we do not have to deal with the ultimate cult episode but with the very good episode with an Alan in great form which wants to leave the house of Charlie. To return finally in supplicant Charlie literally on the knees. In any case here is at the moment the best episode which exploits(runs) almost all the threads and the qualities of the series (is missing a really cult passage and the conquests of Charlie).
