NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Aliyah (2009)
Technical language
Kind of short on reviews.
This isn't really a review. It's a correction of mispronunciation, and I couldn't find anywhere else to post it. When Ziva is talking about the charcoal filter, she pronounces "ethanethiol" "ETH-a-NETH-iol." It's "ETH-ayn-THI-ol": ethane (natural gas) with sulfur substituting one of the hydrogens. "-thiol" is the suffix for sulfur substitution. Minor point which nobody else noticed or, if they did, didn't consider it important enough to mention. Forgive an old chemist.
Father Brown (2013)
Nitpicking
I will accept everyone else's judgments, even those that contradict each other. I have (at present) only one small nit to pick which probably nobody but me has noticed or cared about enough to call attention to it. In S4:E5, "The daughter of Autolycus," NONE of the Catholics, from Father Brown to the Bishops to the Cardinals, know how to pronounce "Pelagius." Who in the world ever allowed the entire Roman Catholic hierarchy to say "Pela-JIY-us"? It's "Pe-LAY-jius," you morons!
