Aunt Frances Curses Gillian... Did you catch it???
23 January 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I have seen this movie several times and just recently discovered that Aunt Frances accidentally curses Gillian.

In the town village scene right before Sally meets her first husband, Sally is reading a letter from Gillian and she says "Gillian just goes right through these men", then Aunt Frances says "Hopefully one day she will meet a man that will go through her"... right after she says those words a tree behind them starts shaking mysteriously. Later in the movie the spirit of Jimmy Angel actually does go through Gillian during a possession.

Coincidence... don't' think so.

Sin City (2005)

This is SIN City, Not Pleasantville
3 May 2005
I recently saw Sin City and I thought it was one of the most entertaining films I have seen in a long time. I disagree with many of the viewers that saw the women as victims. In almost every episode the main female characters were active in resolving their conflicts and they certainly didn't perceive themselves as victims.

When you go to see a movie called SIN CITY, which is based upon a comic which typically features women scantly dressed for one reason or another, you should expect to see a fair amount of nudity. Also, this film is in no way suggesting that ALL women are prostitutes or strippers. The town is called SIN City for a reason. If you want to see women portrayed more realistically, you should not see an action/fantasy like Sin City.

By the way, I am a female.

Pretty Smart (1987)
Not the worst 80's movie
11 February 2004
Trisha Fisher's scenes were at least interesting in this otherwise dull, pointless film.

I wouldn't recommend sticking around past the opening theme song, which is great. Also sung by Trisha Fisher.

A Chorus Line (1985)
I was inspired
11 February 2004
I was 10 years old when I saw "A Chorus Line" for the first time. Although I had limited musical theater exposure at that age, I was immediately drawn to the music, the dancing, and the energy of this film. I just knew I wanted to dance after viewing those packed audition scenes in the first 25 minutes of the movie. Looking back, 17 years later, "A Chorus Line" is still one of my favoites. The late actor who sang that song "Suprise" was one of the most talented dancers I had ever seen. Ahh, good times.

The WORST movie ever made
29 August 2003
Outside of THE MANGLER, this was by far the WORST movie I have ever seen in my life. I'm just glad that I didn't pay to see it in the theaters.

The actors made some of the most boring choices in this film. There was no chemistry between the two leading actors. I didn't believe most of the acting, but I will give the actors some credit because they had to work with such a ridiculous script.
