One of Us (2016)
Ridiculous ending
The actors were wonderful. I really got interested in the plot but The denouement was absurd and just plain awful. I can't get back those 4 hours of my life.
The Tender Bar (2021)
Disappointing
This was a wonderfully memorable book, but Clooney did not do it justice. The actors were fine (Lily Rabe was terrific) except I didn't believe Ben Affleck who felt like a caricature. I loved the music, but it seemed to dominate the plot.
Safe (2018)
Don't waste your time
Absolutely ridiculous plot- do you mean to tell me that the petite thin female detective is strong enough to drown a strapping teenage boy in deep water? Give me a break. And the time of death was that specific on a corpse that had been through that much? And the fire murders were never solved years ago? Utter nonsense. I can't get back those 7 hours of my life.
Bruce Springsteen's Letter to You (2020)
Intimate and Revealing
Meditations on life and loss, aging, and appreciating your loved ones.... at times melancholic... yet hopeful
Giri/Haji (2019)
Wonderful
Many artistic surprises and one of the best endings ever
